I went into this Chik Fil A location to get a snack on a long road trip. I'd just met with some business associates and was hungry and tired. I went into this location to get some fries and the mens room was disgusting: the floor was literally filled with puddles of urine and the dry areas were sticky.
When I went to order just one order of fries, I noticed the young lady at the counter looking at her phone and completely disinterested in helping me. When I finally caught her attention and placed my order, she took my name, and turned back to her phone. There was a stack of fries already sitting behind her and she could have easily picked one up immediately and for whatever reason chose to do nothing. Beside her I saw a manager laughing and carrying on with an employee who also seemed bored with nothing to do. The interior of the restaurant was almost empty with maybe 2 or 3 people inside eating.
I waited and after a few minutes saw several delivery drives from GrubHub waiting for their orders as well while the staff continued to chat and have fun with their phones and socialize. Meanwhile there were stacks of fries sitting under the lights.
After about ten minutes the young lady reached out to me, without speaking, and handed me the fries. She never acknowledged me in any way or spoke a single word, just stuck it out toward my face.
I would never return to this Chik Fil A location because the mens room was filled with urine puddles and sticky floors, while staff joked around and had fun with their phones - leaving customers like me and delivery drivers waiting around unnecessarily waiting for orders. And on top of it all, the young lady at the desk was rude. When I worked customer service at hotels, restaurants, and in business if I'd treated a client or customer that way at the very least I'd get written up and given a warning. Here, the manager was also chatting it up with a young employee having fun, so either didn't notice it or just didn't care, or both.
So, yes, sticky flooded mens room floors, long waits even when nobody's there, and rude employees.
Who needs it? I don't. I can go to another chicken fast food joint or wait until I get home to eat and know I won't be...

My girlfriend and I decided to grab dinner here and we tried the sandwich it tasted old we tried the fries and they weren’t fresh we didn’t try the nuggets we went to return the food we also had Mac and cheese which looked fine so we kept that. We asked if we could get fresh food just the fried sandwich and nuggets and fries. They took the food and said no problem all of a sudden one of the employees comes to the car saying I’m so sorry but my manager said we can’t remake your food because you ate it. We literally took a bite out the sandwich ate a few fries and none of it was fresh. The manager makes the girl at their window tell us they are giving us our food back and not remaking it. The manager finally comes to the window very rude and loud saying he’s following policy and he’s not remaking or refunding. I couldn’t believe it I was so embarrassed why would I eat food and take it back. He then said he’d remake our nuggets only. We were like after the food had been passed around and touched on by several people. The manager walks off and another employee hands us a bag of fresh food finally. This was so embarrassing because it made it seem like we ate our food and brought it back when we simply tried it the manager was so unprofessional and loud and just rude. I will NEVER come back to this location if your thinking about going make sure you don’t taste the food to see if it’s fresh just feel it cause according to their policy they will take the original order examine it and if they feel like you’ve eaten too much they won’t remake or refund you. Whoever runs this location really should be ashamed like to have a policy where if you taste the food and feel it’s not fresh you are just out of luck. Read more6/18/2022 I need Indian River Road Chick-Fil-a to step up their game. There have been 2 other occasions that was not right but I will talk about today. Used the app for the order. Not a small order. It was a family of 3 order. I am noticing a decrease in quality. 2 orders were fine. 1 order that was the kale salad, Mac and cheese and small fry. The kale salad is already small. The one I received, was have the size of the regular small kale salad. The Mac and cheese is not the same and this is not my 1st time from this location. We all know Chick-Fil-a is consistent with receiving the item as pictured. Not the mac and cheese. I expect it to be the same. It should be topped with melted cheese with the creamy macaroni underneath and extremely hot. I am not sure what is going on behind the scene, understaffed, more training, understanding Chick-fil-A mission statement but Indian River location needs an assessment. It is slowly not getting any better.
It was okay today. I ordered a sandwich with cheeses and the cheese was cold and not melted. I went to Chick Fil a on 11/25/17 about 10:45 at 5409 Indian River Road. I had 13 dollars on my app. The young lady scanned my phone and I was ready to pay the difference. But she gave me the full total of which I paid 20.71 in cash.
