Han Xing Chinese food — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I’ve been ordering food here for a long time. My complaint is anything that is fried in a batter from here is not as good as it once was. At one time any of the fried chicken dishes had large pieces of chicken. The beef dishes also large pieces of beef. The food was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For a while now I get tiny pieces of chicken and beef. Lots of batter and fried to a crisp. So crispy it’s not enjoyable to eat. When it’s over fried the chicken or beef turns to leather inside kinda like eating tiny pieces of wood chips. After last nights dinner I was left with a huge pile of fried junk on my plate. Stop over frying and let’s see some decent pieces of chicken and beef. I hate looking for a new Chinese takeout.

July 19 2019 update. This will be my last visit. Again a nice big container of General Taos chicken that’s not eadible. Every piece is the size of a dime, over cooked, all batter no chicken. Worst delivery service ive ever experienced. Their driver has no respect for customers or fear of complaint.

My first time ordering from this place and I warned them that you cant hear the bell from my room and to call me upon arrival. Well, he called me and as soon as I hang up he begins SPAMMING my doorbell. He must have rang it 100 times maybe more in the 30 seconds it took me to get to the door. When I answered he was a jerk and was mad he had rang the bell before calling and that I didnt answer and then he slandered me after I didnt tip.

My second time ordering (I was hoping for a new driver) and the same guy came back so we waited down stairs for him. He gets there, spams the doorbell and presses his face against the glass and stairs into my house with me making direct eye contact.

We have been getting food from here for years with never a issue. Today we ordered lunch and everything came hot and looking good until I went to eat my fried rice and found a roach!!! I was disgusted and had to throw my entire order away since my other meal also had the same fried rice. I called to complain and see about a refund the lady I spoke to was nice and understanding but said she would have the owner call me back. Well he did return my call and was very rude asking what was my problem then asking how big was the roach like that mattered! Then he matter of fact said I give you $20. My order was $45 that is not a reasonable solution to having a roach in your fried rice....we will never eat there again!
