On Friday I visited your store at 1390 Fordham drive in Virginia Beach. Before I visit your store me and a few co-workers had just got paid in cash that checks at a local bank which I was the last one to cash my check so they gave me all $100 bills. Be decided to go to Starbucks and get coffee may I add that all my coworkers were white besides me. A few went inside a Starbucks and got the coffee and me and the few others use the drive-thru which again I was the last one to go through the drive-thru so I know my coworkers use big bills. After I ordered my $8 chocolate mocha I proceeded to go to the drive-thru which one I open my wallet the lady at the window so I had all $100 bills I gave $100 bill she looked at me weird put the money up in the air the look through the money and then call the co-working whisper to a coworker she comes back to the window and tells me I don't have the change really Starbucks is a multi-million dollar company and which I know my coworker spent $50 bills and $100 bills when they got their coffee you really Starbucks you don't have a pen to Mark the money to see if I'm still in real money or is it that I'm black and black people use fake money to get a lot of change back this is outrageous so I tested this theory and sent it a co-worker back in 10 minutes later with $100 bill which was white and get my chocolate Moco it's 2024 when is Starbucks going to get it right and when you going to fix...
Read moreUpdate- Returned months later and the customer service quality is night and day, was acknowledged instantly, and drinks only took 5 min. Traffic back up from drive through lane is still a major issue.
Walked over at 8:30 am after dropping my car off at the Firestone nearby. (It was incredibly difficult to even pull into Firestone because of the Starbucks traffic). Requested to try their new oatmeal brown sugar beverage, but they were out. Barista suggested I check out the menu behind her for other options (on a digital screen which displayed nothing, aside from the drink I wanted). I brought this to her attention because I had no idea what my other options were. (I'm not a regular) She and another barista looked at me blankly, saying sometimes the screen did that. I asked if I should just wait for it to pop back up and she said she didn't know. So then I asked of they had a physical copy of their menu and was told no. At this point I'm a little confused at their nonchalance. I just say "ok then, I'll find the menu on my phone." To which they respond "ok". I end up leaving without ordering because the whole process just left a bad taste in my mouth. I suggest fixing menu display screens or atleast having a back...
Read moreThis is hands down thee worst Starbucks I have ever been to when it comes to customer service and quality of taste. I have been to several Starbucks in Virginia Beach and when traveling and THIS Starbucks’ coffee is nasty every time I go there. They never make what you order correctly. A simple frappe is always tasteless, and I tried to customize, which is something I recently started doing at the other locations by lining the cup in caramel sauce and extra drizzle and they did neither one of my requests. There was less drizzle than I’ve seen on a standard frappe at other locations and they did not line the cup. I looked at the ticket and it just said extra caramel drizzle. The time before yesterday, there was a long line and the line was moving slowly (which is typical at this location) and when I got to the window I saw my frappe sitting in front of the window while the girl at the window took her time talking to her friends in the back, played, and did a little dance. There was no sense of urgency when there was a long line outside. I only go there when it’s more convenient but I’m never going to this one again. I’d rather drive out of my way to get my money’s worth and have GOOD coffee and good...
