Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

The food is terrible, but on the bright side, most the staff all the way up to the dumpy GM are incompetent, so you get the whole miserable experience.

No matter what time of day you go, the patties are cold and dry like they’ve sat all day. The fries are always stale af, the chicken is always overcooked and old, nothing here is good except breakfast.

There are two people here who take pride in their work. And older black gentleman, and a light skinned lady who I usually only see in the morning on weekends.

Everyone else is trash. From the GM who looks at you not being helped in an empty restaurant, and wanders around instead of making sure you’re taken care of, to the blue haired chick that takes 20 minutes to make your fries and burger, to the young girl on drive thru who constantly has mental breakdowns over the most irrelevant things, and won’t take your order until she wanders around overreacting and hyperventilating for 10 minutes.

I hate everything about this place. The GM is trash, and his staff is trash as a result. On a scale of 1-10 for fast food restaurants, Hardee’s will always be a solid 1. But on a 1-10 scale of Hardee’s restaurants, this location is a 1. Bottom of the barrel.

I should have known better since there was only 2 people there at the 6:00 dinner time hour. I ordered through the drive through my adult meal and my child’s meal, paid at the window, received my drinks, and was asked to pull up to wait for a few minutes. My wait was more than 20 minutes after checking the time stamp on my receipt. I went inside to see 2 other people sitting in the dining room waiting for their food. I asked when were they going to be delivering the food as it had been 20 minutes sitting out in my running car! Finally after a total of 25 minutes, I received my good! The quality of food was a reflection of this terrible service. The frites were not fresh and were lukewarm at best. My special chicken BLT was sad and pathetic! The chicken was less than half the size of the bread. I will probably never go to a Hardee’s again especially not this one in...

I had left Sentara Virginia Beach after visiting a friend and went through the drive-in and asked for a small cheeseburger. I was told that it was seven dollars even. Thought that was kind of unusual, there’s usually change. I didn’t order a drink, fries or anything else, just the cheeseburger. When I went to the next window I said is this a small cheeseburger he said yes, and gave me $13 back from a $20 bill. He gave me no receipt. When I got home I went online to check the prices. There is no $7.00 cheeseburger. Did the rest of the money go in his pocket? How many people has he done this to? I had an appointment at 1 PM or I would’ve gone inside to complain.
