I have been a customer of JJs for at least 7 yrs. I was sick w/the flu & went to the Holland Rd store yesterday because it was close to where I live and I hadn’t eaten. A young blonde girl sold me a Turkey Tom double meat. She didn’t offer me a bag or receipt. I asked for a bag but didn’t get a receipt. I called back 20 minutes later saying the sandwich was salty. She said I needed to call the GM Andrew tomorrow. I went by there today at 5:44pm Andrew was not there. I spoke w/Nick the Mgr. He wouldn’t replace the sandwich or refund my money. He said he needed to talk to Andrew but that Andrew was in class. I said to Nick so you guys would rather lose a faithful customer vs replacing half a sandwich. So I sat in the drive through for 20 minutes writing a complaint to the GM. After I was done and handed the envelope with the letter in it to Nick, he said he had spoken to Andrew the GM who said I must have liked the sandwich because I ate half of it. WHAT GAUL and WHAT ATTITUDE! Nick also said tha the GM Andrew was not replacing it and because I didn’t have the receipt (which the blonde girl didn’t give me) and there was nothing he could do. I said to Nick, in ALL my years, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCOURTEOUS SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!! I LET HIM KNOW THAT NOT ONLY HAVE THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE BUT I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW HOW BAD I WAS TREATED. AND HE STILL KEPT HALF THE SANDWICH DOUBLE MEET THAT I RETURNED. I HAVE NEVE MET WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONALISM EVER. IF YOU STILL DECIDE TO GO TO A JIMMY JOHNS, WHICH I DO NOT RECOMMEND, THEN DEFINITELY DON’T PATRONIZE THE ONE LOCATED ON HOLLAND ROAD. Read moreI thought a late night sandwich sounded good, so double checked their times on Google, which listed a 10p close time for Sat. I pulled up to the drive-thru (9:05p), saw a young gentleman (worker) inside playing on his phone, but who looked up when I pulled up. I received no response through the speaker. After a couple minutes another young gentleman came out on the sidewalk from the side of the building (that faves Starbucks), I asked if he worked there and if they were still open - he mumbled something, appeared to put headphones in, and went back around the side of the building (I assumed to check on the worker inside about attending to the drive-thru). I double-checked the close time again on Google, as well as the official JJ site (both listed 10pm), waited another couple minute, then drive off (through the end of the drive-thru... to see the second gentleman hiding around the [employee door] side of the building). It's very obvious that the late night shift, at least on 03/11, didn't care that they were still on the clock (at least the one inside playing...
Read moreThe reviews are right, this place is not customer friendly and definitely not freaky fast. I order at 3:14pm. Waited 30 minutes before calling to advised someone the website did not provide a delivery time. A guy said they only have one driver and don't know when my sandwiches would be delivered. I told him don't worry about it, I'll come pick it up. I was there in 3 minutes. They never offered to refund my delivery fee. I had to ask. Then I get home and my order isn't right. I called back up there and a guy answered the phone. I asked for his name, but he don't me he doesn't have to give me his name. I told him I'll come back up there and get your name. He was speechless. I told him put the manager on the phone. Amy was unapologetic and was not trying to resolve the matter. It's now 4:09pm and I'm just eating a sandwich I didn't order. Oh well! I will go to Subway next time...
