Judys Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Heads up for those looking for a place to grab lunch:

Online, this place is advertised as a Bar & Grill, but I think it's more of a Bar & We Might Have Some Food In the Back. I've come here twice to dine in now, about mid afternoon, handful of patrons at the bar. Both times I was given a look like I was in the wrong place. Each time having to oddly explain that I would like to sit down, look at a menu, and order food before the server would understand me. I say understand, but it's more of an "oh, okay, I think we can do that, just give me a minute to see if we still have an old menu around here somehwere" response. The first time I was served, and the food was fine, but the second it took the server so long to get back to me I had to leave to make it back to work.

No one was rude to me, though, I just don't think this is a sit down restaurant in any capacity, and is 95%...

located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, “Judy’s” is a MUST when in the area ...

They have on point lumpia as one of their delicious appetizer choices.

They make juicy tasty burgers and chicken wings.

They have an amazing steak! The cut changes depending on what they get fresh from the butcher, but they are always so tasty and perfect and fresh. The seasonings are perfect and always tender.

They have great specials every day (steak is 9. 95 on Friday 5 to 9 with one side. Steak is always a LARGE steak. Not a skimpy rip off)
