Food here is pretty good especially the tacos on Tuesdays when they have them for $2.50 each. Happy hour has very limited as far as drinks. You can only get discounted margaritas you can’t get a discount on any other drink or cocktail in the house not even Mojitos… They also don’t have sangria. They’re the only Mexican/Nicaraguan/El Salvador restaurant I’ve ever been to that doesn’t have their own sangria… The mango Mojitos is quite good. I ordered a jalapeño frozen margarita just to get the happy hour price and it was mediocre at best. In fact, I sent it back because there was no flavor to it
Service is hit and miss. The first time I came, it was great. The second time I wasn’t even given silverware or dinner sized napkins.
Both times I was there they had no paper towels in the restroom to wipe your hands on and those kind of little details. Really are irritating.
The chorizo is quite good and so is the chicken so are the Carne Asada tacos. But like I said Service is hit and miss as our drinks and the discount
Now I understand why very few customers frequent the place and it’s almost empty all the time… as when it’s good. It’s really good… When they’re slack it’s really slack …
I find the management to be very rigid and not very...
Read moreQuite empty really. No latin atmosphere. We ordered la cena salvadoreña y una carne asada & we were fully expecting the steak to be juicy & flavorful. That’s not what we got. It was dry & not seasoned at all. Like I had to add salt & pepper and it still wasn’t enough. The horchata was okay & the service was okay. The carne asada portion is big but the cena salvadoreña wasn’t. Mine came with a lot more steak than my husbands. I offered to share but neither one of us liked the steak. The tortillas were handmade but really thin. Usually in a Salvadoran restaurant you get thicker tortillas. With this being a “new” restaurant you would think the owner would rebrand it and make the atmosphere warm & inviting. It’s really just a big open space with tables surrounding a small dance floor & that’s it. There’s ALOT of competition in the area & if this restaurant doesn’t change then you’ll fade into the background. The server was nice but forgot to leave us silverware or napkins. Everything could use a refresh especially when we’re paying 53$ for 2 dinners & there wasn’t any white sauce like the other review said. Chips came with salsa...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible! This restaurant is a hidden gem that combines the best of Mexican and Salvadorian cuisine. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and authenticity. The pupusas were perfectly cooked, with gooey cheese and flavorful fillings, and the tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh hand made tortillas, juicy meat, and perfectly seasoned.
The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the staff was so welcoming and attentive. You could tell they take real pride in their food and service. Don’t skip out on the delicious arroz con leche it’s a perfect way to round out your meal.
Whether you’re craving Salvadorian classics or Mexican favorites, this spot delivers on every level. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu!...
