Arrived and placed my order at 4:18pm on Saturday may 25. There was a girl I guess training up front so she had someone helping her. So she wasn't really the one talking to me the one training her was. I asked about jalapeno poppers and the girl responded right away they didn't have any. So I asked if she could go check and she went in the back and an African American lady came out with her. I'm guessing the manager because they told me they did have them so I placed an order for a number 5 and a 8 count and a 5 count popper. It was 15.57 after tax and I had already paid with a debit card!! So the guy comes out and is looking for the jalapeno poppers and pulls a bag out and there's only 6. The manager asks if I want a refund for the 8 or the 6 count. As in if I wanted 6 they'd charge me for 8. Before hand and when I asked if they had them I told the girl if they didn't I did not want to get anything. But they told me they did and already charged me for everything. So when she's giving me the refund for the 8 count I ask for the full refund because I never wanted to order if they didn't have the main thing I went there for. She smacked her lips, looked up and me and took a deep breath and let it out. She gave me the refund but walking out the door to the car I immediately noticed I had 2 fives and only a couple ones. There wasn't 5. I got back 13.40 something because the change wasn't even right either. I told my mom as soon as I got in the car that she'd have to go in because it was 2$ short. My mom went in and when she came back out she told me she went in and told the African American girl the change wasn't right. The girl pulled what was still owed to my mom OUT OF HER POCKET!! And still even thoughi it's 6 cents it's still short! Will be calling corporate Monday when they open. You're lucky they don't swipe your card for you too when...

I have not been to Long John Silverās in over 5-10 years! As a little boy, my dad used to take me here, and when we would leave, I got to āRing the Bell for good service and foodāš. The atmosphere was very similar and I am glad that they did not do any MAJOR renovations, because everything inside looks retro and pretty much the same from 10 years ago. Coming back here brought me back to being a child.
The taste was what I expected and was the same as I remember it from when I was a child. The portions left me full and were very delicious accompanied by different sauces (Malt Vinegar, Tartar Sauce, and Ketchup). I left very satisfied and happy. I definitely will be returning. Maybe next time I will try their coleslaw sides; they looked...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStick a fork in this grease pit; it's done. From the floors being slippery from the grease, the smell of old grease permiating into your clothes after 3 mins in the bldg and the overall run down condition of the bldg. Coleslaw was rank (past shelf life by days); mac n cheese was dry like it had been sitting for a month. Chicken and fish were overcooked and dripping grease; this is after the 25-minute ride home. My wife and I really tried to find something to save and eat but just couldn't; it was all disgusting! I threw 27 dollars in the trash and swore we would never go back. I gave 2 stars for how fast they were actually getting people their orders, but everything else...
