Edit: for the first time in 16 years, my son and I had a hot double cheeseburger and small French fry from this location. It was truly a miracle! However, it was short lived when my son and I took a drink of our Cokes. The syrup must have been out. It tasted like seltzer only. Why can’t there just be one time that the overall experience be 5 stars? Then, the next time all of our food was cold and disgusting.
I find it extremely hard to believe that any McDonalds can serve cold food. Especially seeing that it is a $222 BILLION dollar company. Let me put things into perspective for those that need a good understanding of how wealthy corporate McDonalds is. 1,000,000 seconds equates to 11 days and 1,000,000,000 seconds equates to 31 YEARS! Now think about that in terms of money. You do the math…They have F you money. There’s no excuse as to why franchises don’t receive corporate dollars. I know that corporate and franchises are their entities. But corporate should at least help franchises afford new, top of the line equipment, offer financial incentives if they’re the best stores in the state or nation…Again, it’s hard to believe McDonald’s in general can not afford to properly train their employees, and most importantly not afford to hire enough quality workers with a competitive salary. I’d rather my food be HOT than fast. If it means waiting an extra 3 minutes, so be it. Who cares about your drive thru times either. McDonald’s can afford to give all of their employees bonuses at the end of the year; if they earn them of course.
Here’s another idea, stop paying celebrities and stop making commercials. We all know who you are. We don’t need a reminder or be told what celebrities are eating what. I can tell you what they can eat though…other people’s food because they make their meals hot.
If you want to learn from a McDonalds that knows what they are doing, go to Portsmouth’s McDonald’s right in front of the base. I have NEVER received a cold meal there ever. And they season their food. It’s like they follow protocol and procedures like they’re supposed to.
Original Post: The customer service and food is mediocre. Some employees are very helpful and care and other employees just don’t act like they care. Additionally employees park in the mobile pickup spots which prevents mobile orders from parking in spots 1-4. After a series of buying food on multiple occasions I found the food was cold 63%...
Read moreI went in and ordered an eat-in meal. I ordered the fish sandwich double large fries and a large drink. It took 10 minutes to get my food they brought it to the table. The fish sandwich was cold and tasted like it was left on the counter for a while The bread was a little soggy and there was a half a piece of cheese. The fries were semi-warm they were crispy. The tables inside were dirty. It took me about 20 minutes to eat the horrible food that I got. I did not go back up front and complain because there was long lines and the drive-thru both lines were around the building. They did not have enough help in my opinion so the customer suffers. People must like this place or it's the only place close by. I am not sure I will be returning. I tried to talk to the manager on duty and he took a moment but I feel he was very busy and working very hard to try to get the food out. I'm not going to talk about the bathrooms! I have been to this place in the past for a drive-thru and it wasn't too bad. I called the number on my receipt and I left a message and nobody has ever called me back. I am very unhappy with the customer service and the attitude of the help at this location when I went in to try to have a lunch. I had to get something to eat and I didn't feel like really arguing with anybody or having to stand in line again to try to get something taken care of. After I ate it took me about 10 minutes to talk to the manager on duty so that I could share my thoughts. He said thank you and went back to work! I am wondering if I will ever get a call back to address my issues with this McDonald's! I know times are tough but this is a little bit ridiculous. A mom and pop shop would not treat their customers like this and would be more concerned! I guess at this location they're making so much money they barely don't care about their customer here's your food give me your money get out the door! That is just my...
Read moreThe cashier at first window young lady doesn't belong in customer service. For the past 2 weeks I was there twice and both times she was using profanity language. The first time as she was speaking to me she used the F word so many times I lost count. She was complaining to me how previous customer gave her 19$ and she had to count that , I looked at her and was shocked how she felt comfortable enough to tell me all that using profanity language. I'm sorry but this is your JOB as a cashier to count money. 19$ in any denomination is still money. I right away let someone know at second window that the girl needed attitude adjustment as it's very unprofessional to use profanity language even if it is fast food restaurant. I went there few days later and she was there again, and AGAIN was using profanity language in her speech, at the second window I asked to speak with the manager, some lady came up who was filing in bags and introduced herself as manager. Im not sure if that was truly her since an emploee turned back to me and was saying smth as i was waitinf for this "manager "and I let her know about the situation all she said was " ok I'll let her know".....???????? I was stunned for that response from the "manager" I drove away since I was on the way to work and forgot to get the number of the owner but you really should consider who you put at the window to speak to your customers. Even if that girl didn't cuss directly at me she was still using profanity language as she was talking to me like I'm her friend, but that's just terrible...
