Ordered online on the Ouka Sora website. Site wasn't hard to navigate, but scrolling through all the options can take time. They have a lot of food options including poke bowls, ramen, sushi burritos, sushi tacos, and lots of appetizers. They also have a good menu of beverage drink options. I ordered a pick 2 poke bowl and a matcha milk tea. The inside of the restaurant is clean, colorful and modern. Walk in customers order on 2 tablet kiosks, which is convenient, but you may as well just order online for the same experience. My order was ready in 15 minutes and the presentation of the food and drink is awesome. My poke bowl came in an actual sphere container with a convenient holder, and my drink in a matte non-slip cup. They also had branded reusable bags. My poke bowl was delicious, packed with everything I requested and very filling. My matcha milk tea was good, but the boba was undercooked and hard to chew in some spots. I also prefer heat seal boba drink cups as opposed to lids so the drink can be shaken to mix up the boba. As cute as the little heart seal is for the drink spout, it does not provide a tight seal and my drink did leak when I tried to shake up my boba. Overall it was a great experience and definitely a good recommendation if you're looking for some poke and a...
Read moreCompletely understand it being opening weekend and with the discount having to wait an extra 30 minutes for my online order, but...
The gyoza dumplings were soft, not crispy. 2 if the spring rolls were soggy. The milk cap tea was Luke warm with no milk cap, because it was ready in time and the other food was not, So it sat and got warm for the 30 minutes.
Flavorwise: Dumplings were good. Nothing special. May have been better a bit crispy.
The spring roll had a great flavor and the sauce is a more fishy tasting than some but good.
The teriyaki chicken has a great flavor. Also has the skin on some pieces, personally not my favorite way to have it.
The coconut chicken is amazing! Crispy, weird since the rest was not. Definitely recommend this item.
The milk cap tea was ok. I do like the tea flavor that comes through. I think it would have been much better at the right temperature. Some of boba are too soft and some are a nice firm.
The poke bowl is delicious! Love the customized bowl.
The poke ramen is great. Did not know it had corn and edamame though. Love how the noodles are separates from the broth
I definitely think I will be back to try again. Maybe in the...
Read moreI've had four or five of the at least 100 different bobas style, milk teas, milk shakes and more (that you can customize and add different types of the pearls -white or dark?-, or any of the other 20+ drink ingredients. You can even control how much ice.
Unfortunately I have not tried their poke bowls or any of the other hundred food or soup potions. I did smell some of the yumminess they were cooking but didn't have time due to having to get my son's gf home. This place is a true gem. My Thai tea boba today had boba pearls halfway up the cup. Lol. Boba in every sip to the end. Just the way it should be!
The next time I go, I'll take pics and upload. You seriously need to check out this place. It's bright, super clean, they have some board games as soon as you get there right inside the door and all of the ordering is done on one if two kiosks. No pressure to decide quickly a chance to really go wild on your customized drink. They even have those "kid" (we all know we love we love them too teehee) with the glass ball in yes to you need to press in to the little glass chamber on the bottle. So much fun! Hope to...
