Seafood Wings — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Delicious Food, Generous Portions, Good price!! Seafood Wings is located in a small strip near a busy grocery store. The restaurant is small with a few tables in a small space. I ordered my food online for pick up. The cashier was friendly and fast. The menu is extensive with many different combos- was a little challenging for me to settle on an order, but there’s always next time! Nice portions for the money. The food was delicious! I like that they separate the items in your take out container. My fried flounder and shrimp were lightly breaded and crispy. I chose fries for my side and they were crinkle cut which are a favorite of mine. There were many options for sides including fried rice, which I plan to order next time. The tartar sauce was good however the cocktail sauce was watery and lacked the typical bite from horseradish. The food tasted great without the condiments also. I have a list of things I’m trying next time!!

**Update 3rd visit: Delicious food! Friendly staff! Clean restaurant. I ordered fried flounder and shrimp combo with veg fried rice (small up charge fee) . The rice is some of the best fried rice I’ve had with peas, carrots, onions & broccoli. I may just order rice and try the wings next time! So...

I like trying all the independent restaurants I can find and its really nice to get your food and know immediately that the place takes pride in their food and know what they are doing. I ordered a shrimp po boy and some wings, delivery. Ingredients were clearly very fresh and high quality, soft and chewy sub roll, fresh veg, big shrimp, BIG chicken wings. Delicious sub, truly top notch, everything cooked perfectly. The honey garlic pepper sauce had a great flavor, although I prefer a spicier wing so Ill be trying more options. If sweet, sticky, flavorful is what you want its an easy recommend.

My only criticism is that the crinkle cut fries from a combo are mid. Very basic freezer to fryer, no special seasoning. Fries are hard to judge delivered but imo if you are going to go with a crinkle cut fry they should be fried really crispy and I dont think that was ever the case for these. I wont knock this place for that though, fries dont really seem to be their "thing," so I would suggest choosing a different side unless a basic crinkle cut is your jam. Okay, so it seemed a little eclectic that they do seafood and wings and bubble tea and egg rolls, etc But y'all these wing is were the BEST wings I've ever had in Virginia. The menu was like going to Cookout, you can get a lil bit of everything and it's all good, haha! The wings were HUGE and meaty and crispy, and I can't believe the price! We got enough food to feed us for 2 days. I got a 10pc wing combo with half spicy lemon pepper dry rub and half buffalo. Okay, heads up that the buffalo sauce is a traditional Buffalo, NY sauce which is sweet and a lil spicy. It's not like the Franks red hot and butter kind. It was delicious. The lemon pepper dry rub was crispy and loaded with flavor. My husband got mango habanero and it was so good and fresh tasting. It didn't taste like syrup or fake sweetness.
