If you're craving an authentic New York pizza experience right here in Virginia Beach, look no further than Queens NY Pizza. This gem brings the essence of NYC’s pizza scene to the coastal vibe of Virginia.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels like a family owned, classic pizzeria. The menu is straightforward but impressive, featuring a variety of classic slices and specialty pies that cater to all tastes.
The Pizza & more: The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness that you’d expect from a genuine New York slice. The sauce strikes a perfect balance between tangy and sweet, and the cheese is gooey and generously applied. I also tried their family sized meat lovers Stromboli and wow was it delicious! I intended to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow, but couldn’t stop chowing down!
Service: The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you step in. Service is quick and efficient, which is perfect for those busy nights when you just want to grab a slice on the go.
Ambiance: The vibe is casual and laid-back, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a slice in a cozy environment. The walls are adorned with NYC memorabilia, adding to the charm.
Overall: Queens NY Pizza is a must-visit for anyone in Virginia Beach looking for a slice of New York. With its authentic flavors, generous portions, and warm atmosphere, it’s a spot that leaves you craving more long after you’ve left. Highly recommended for...
Read moreThis is the kind of place I don’t want to give five stars to, because the better the rating, I’m afraid the increase in traffic will lead to a decrease in quality. That’s an unfounded fear though, and I’d be remiss not to give this place the props they deserve.
Let’s talk food first. I ordered a half cheese-half bacon pizza, a grinder, buffalo wings, garlic knots, and the zeppole. The pizza was the star, for sure — with cheese that had the perfect chew and a real nice crust. The wings were a solid second. My only “negative” on the food was that the garlic knots didn’t have actual garlic on them and were just a little dry. Still great tasting, though.
As for the service? My order was ready on time and came out hot, but that’s not what stuck out. What impressed me most was that the guy at the counter brought my order out to me - didn’t just hand it over the counter - and then opened the door for my on my way out. Most people can’t be bothered to do more than the bare minimum, and I could’ve gotten the door myself, but I appreciated the touch.
Anyway, five stars....

I'm from New York and a pizza snob. Been to almost everywhere worth note in the City, jersey and new have...
Aside from them being very nice Here is my honest review.
The pizza is thin new york pizza. The cheese is typical NY street slice (a good thing) , the sauce is very good. The undercarriage is crispy and soft middle of the dough being that it's thin. There is air in the dough which tells you the chef knows what he is doing because that means it's hand tossed. The taste of the dough and feel is new york pizza. The pizza is a very good and I'm going to say it's the best street slice in Virginia Beach and it's a genuine NY street slice. Given that the do is a little stretchy I think he is using a mix of double zero dough.
I liked the fresh pie is better than getting a slice. Not always the case but it is here.
Queens NY Pizza is legit...
