If you're craving an authentic New York pizza experience right here in Virginia Beach, look no further than Queens NY Pizza. This gem brings the essence of NYCâs pizza scene to the coastal vibe of Virginia.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels like a family owned, classic pizzeria. The menu is straightforward but impressive, featuring a variety of classic slices and specialty pies that cater to all tastes.
The Pizza & more: The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness that youâd expect from a genuine New York slice. The sauce strikes a perfect balance between tangy and sweet, and the cheese is gooey and generously applied. I also tried their family sized meat lovers Stromboli and wow was it delicious! I intended to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow, but couldnât stop chowing down!
Service: The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you step in. Service is quick and efficient, which is perfect for those busy nights when you just want to grab a slice on the go.
Ambiance: The vibe is casual and laid-back, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a slice in a cozy environment. The walls are adorned with NYC memorabilia, adding to the charm.
Overall: Queens NY Pizza is a must-visit for anyone in Virginia Beach looking for a slice of New York. With its authentic flavors, generous portions, and warm atmosphere, itâs a spot that leaves you craving more long after youâve left. Highly recommended for...
Read moreThis is the kind of place I donât want to give five stars to, because the better the rating, Iâm afraid the increase in traffic will lead to a decrease in quality. Thatâs an unfounded fear though, and Iâd be remiss not to give this place the props they deserve.
Letâs talk food first. I ordered a half cheese-half bacon pizza, a grinder, buffalo wings, garlic knots, and the zeppole. The pizza was the star, for sure â with cheese that had the perfect chew and a real nice crust. The wings were a solid second. My only ânegativeâ on the food was that the garlic knots didnât have actual garlic on them and were just a little dry. Still great tasting, though.
As for the service? My order was ready on time and came out hot, but thatâs not what stuck out. What impressed me most was that the guy at the counter brought my order out to me - didnât just hand it over the counter - and then opened the door for my on my way out. Most people canât be bothered to do more than the bare minimum, and I couldâve gotten the door myself, but I appreciated the touch.
Anyway, five stars....

I'm from New York and a pizza snob. Been to almost everywhere worth note in the City, jersey and new have...
Aside from them being very nice Here is my honest review.
The pizza is thin new york pizza. The cheese is typical NY street slice (a good thing) , the sauce is very good. The undercarriage is crispy and soft middle of the dough being that it's thin. There is air in the dough which tells you the chef knows what he is doing because that means it's hand tossed. The taste of the dough and feel is new york pizza. The pizza is a very good and I'm going to say it's the best street slice in Virginia Beach and it's a genuine NY street slice. Given that the do is a little stretchy I think he is using a mix of double zero dough.
I liked the fresh pie is better than getting a slice. Not always the case but it is here.
Queens NY Pizza is legit...
