ASIAN TOUCH — Local services in Virginia Beach

So I just got back from a 6 1/2 hour trip and my body was sore and aching and I knew that I needed to go get a massage. It was the best decision that I made after the trip. I went to Asian touch and the staff greeted me and help me fill out the paperwork And I circle all the areas that needed to work on I will tell you that The therapist was amazing and I feel so much better. Normally, I go to this establishment in the morning, but after this trip, I had to go about an hour after if I could give more than a five star I would and I will be going to get my monthly treatment, and it does not matter who gives me the massage as I have received massages from two therapist, and I have never had any complaints. If the massage was not done well, I would have to give the appropriate comment. I gave the therapist what I thought was a great tip and I am looking forward to going back again. I did not catch her name, but it does not matter each time that I go to this establishment I come out feeling better than when I arrived. Thanks to the therapist who also used hot stones and some techniques that has never been used on me before but I left ache free and no more soreness or back and leg pain. Horrible experience and I never got serviced. I'm from NC and was getting a message before heading back home on Sunday. I called in Saturday at 6:15p and was scheduled for Sunday at 4p. At 3:15p on Sunday I called to ask if I could come early but no one answered the phone. At 3:37p someone called back and said I could come early, I told them that was unnecessary since my appointment was close anyway. I got there at 3:53p. A woman came out and asked me to come back tomorrow, Monday. She never asked my name, if I had a appointment, etc. Just greeted me by saying come tomorrow. I told her my appointment was at 4 and again she said they were full and come back tomorrow. I told her I made my appointment Saturday at 6:15p and I JUST spoke with someone at 3:37p who said I could come then. The woman left and came back with another woman who reiterated they were full and come back tomorrow, even after I told her I made the appointment Saturday, I just spoke with someone there at 3:37 & I live in NC. I even showed her my call log with the business number. She told me they don't answer the phones at that location and to call the business number and speak with someone. At that point I left. Slightly below average experience here. I don't believe their online appointment form works super well, or they don't track it, because my husband and I made an appointment through it, they confirmed our appointment, and when we arrived they asked if we had called. I see that's a recurring thing with them, so I don't know if their system works well?

Anyways, big language barrier with them as they don't speak the best English. I know a little Manadarin, but not enough to explain my neck and shoulder pain. Thankfully they had papers to point to where the pain is located.

We paid for deep tissue massages. They room was comfortable. The woman who massaged me clearly was not a massage therapist. She wasn't able to follow muscle planes that most massage places go through to work out knots. I asked for her to massage harder, but she maintained the very light touch throughout. I really needed my neck and shoulder worked on due to being sick for two weeks and I could barely turn my head due to muscle tightness. Unfortunately, the language barrier made it difficult to explain again where I needed more focus.

My husband said the woman who massaged him did quite deep tissue, so I'm guessing it's just depending on...
