Went to sonic to grab a bite with my dad. 1st the speaker at the bay wasn't operating correct. They came out after watching us struggle for a few minutes. The young lady came out to take our order. I ordered a large number 3 with jalapeño w/ a strawberry lemonade, jalapeño poppers and a medium strawberry milkshake. My dad ordered a classic large number 1 w/ a coke, large onion rings and strawberry milkshake. The only the she rang up large was the onion rings everything else she rang up as medium. I told my dad to just get the mediums because it would probably take her another 30min to get back over to us. We were ok with that. When they brought the food out to us they forgot the 1 of the fries. Onto of that, the small medium fries was only half full. We hit the call button but didn't get a response for over 10 minutes. Luckily I was smart enough to go grab dude running the food and let him know 2 minutes after hitting the button. The chick came over wanting to see our recept the like a damn detective after I spent $49 + $2 tip. What happened to the customer is always right. Over a $2.50 frie that was half full to begin with. What happened to the customer always being right when it comes to little things? I guess there's no such thing as good customer service anymore. I exchange a few select words with her and had my fries less than 30sec later.. I didn't eat them of course because I was afraid she put some dandruff or something in them. Lol. But still, why the hassle. You need to teach your employees better customer service. I might have to drive 20 extra minutes next time I want some sonic. Read moreI ordered some extra large frozen lemonades. Person working window (Kayla) misunderstood what I said and made me lemonade drinks. I noticed this when I sat the cups in my vehicle and heard ice moving around. I asked her if the drinks were lemonades and she said yes. I told her that I didn’t order lemonades they are suppose to be frozen lemonades. She told me to pull up and she could make me some new drinks. I asked her if I could leave real quick to drop my grandkids off to my son (a block away) and she said yes. My son was waiting for me and we already had a small issue because I was given the wrong change, which had to be resolved. I asked her if she wanted to get the drinks now or when I came back. She told me to keep the drinks that she made because they would have to dispose of them. When I came back, Josh (who is suppose to be a manager) told me that I couldn’t get my drinks because I ordered the other drinks, paid for them, and drove away. I explained to him that I did not order those drinks and told him what Kayla told me. It wasn’t my mistake. However, I am not disappointed with Kayla because she tried to fix a mess up and provide good customer service. I wonder why he is suppose to be a manager. I don’t know where he got his customer service training from but he needs more training. This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced from any fast food place. It’s a shame that there are people who would make very good managers but don’t have a job because people who lack particular skills are fulfilling these positions. Read moreSonic never ceases to amaze me! They cannot seem to get my order correct, even if i ordered online with the app! With the exception of ordering drinks, they never got my sandwiches correct!!! Side items were bone cold, and I live only 5-6 mins away!! Their new limited-time sandwich is a nice touch, but they couldn't even get that right. I ordered their pork BBQ sandwich, not the cheeseburger pork BBQ sandwich! I must limit my red-meat beef intake, so I asked for latter, pork BBQ sandwich with EXTRA lettuce and bacon. I got the cheeseburger Pork BBQ sandwich with regular portion of lettuce! AND I HAD TO PAY FOR THE EXTRA PORTION!!! I had to correct the order myself but throwing the bottom half with burger patty and cheese and use my own bottom half of my hamburger bun!!! It is matter of a few cents, but it is a matter of principle and attention to detail!!! And then waiting 10 mins at the stall for the order with one or two cars at the drive-thru??? I was monitoring their traffic flow, and it was not much at 9pm!!!! There was no reason for for me to wait 10 mins for order to delivery, and to have the order made incorrectly and get cold side items... I called 3 times, but got no answer.
