THIS PLACE HAS TO BE A JOKE❗️❗️TRY TO ADVOID IF POSSIBLE, AND IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR APPETITE ❗️❗️❗️ I dont even like leaving reviews! BUT THIS IS A MUST! We went here 08/09/2024 around 9:20ish - 9:30ish right…. Walked in, whole entire place smelled like toilet water. (-_-) Our waiter acted like he was on some type of drugs or something. He didn’t introduce himself, so I don't know his name, YES HE WAS RUDE! I ALMOST CURSED HIM OUT!!! But he’s short, has short gray hair, and missing teeth. He even got into it with other employees there as well. We ordered a Appetizer, Then our entree which had sides as well, and we ordered some pancakes and sausage for our daughter. We got our sides 1st before the appetizer, 10 mins later, we got our appetizer, 13 mins (approximately ) we got our entrees, and it took exactly 15 mins for my daughter to get her pancakes and sausage, which I thought she would've gotten before us. Mind you, IT WAS VERY VERY SLOW (surprisingly on a friday night but I understand why now). the server was trash, barely listens and needs to really calm down. I had to ask him myself if he was okay. But he had to be on something, he was too anxious, and aggravated at the same time. another customer was seated by the same server, and after placing his order, and with him having to return his food back, and dealing with the server, he packed up and left. He was only there not even 20 mins. Upon paying for our food, the server was threatening his other co-workers about “leaving and going home” and was even swearing. I should’ve know better than coming to this place, just by looking at the Old faded “Denny’s” sign. The only good experience we had here, was my daughter playing with toy machine on the way out. This store needs serious help and training. I wouldn’t recommend a stray cat to eat here. I should’ve followed my mind, and went 2 mins up the street to iHop. I will never in a million years eat at this location again. And I hope this reaches the right attention. Get it together and get it together FAST! Otherwise this place will stay empty as it was when...
Read moreI’m not gonna lie, I knew what I was in for as soon as I walked through the door. Besides the workers in the kitchen, one was at the front and three sitting down on their phones at a table right in the middle of the restaurant all while three empty tables next to them were waiting to be cleaned so that customers could sit. Not to mention the other 4 who were sitting at other tables on the other side of the restaurant. We ordered and everything was fine at first. The mozzarella sticks were great- it’s hard to mess those up.
My server was Karina A. I ordered the strawberry French toast grand slam. The eggs and bacon came first and while the eggs were good, it felt like I was given old, cold and super stiff bacon strips. When the main part finally came around- to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Normally the dish comes with the French toast and some strawberries sliced with syrup on top. I’ve gotten this dish multiple times in different locations and never had an issue questioning the freshness of the fruit. However the fruit in this case looked so mushy and disgusting. They were sour and just overall gross.
I tried to speak to my waitress and she gave me multiple “reasons” why it looks like that. 1- it’s just the syrup 2- it’s just a new thing they’re doing 3- it’s suppose to look like that.
I tried to say that it was suppose to look like this * points at the one actual piece strawberry on the plate* and she just listed more excuses. I was offered a different plate which I politely declined. All in all, if you want to come here for mozzarella sticks- great. You’ll love them. If you want to come here for fresh food- I would suggest going to the dennys in 49st or literally anywhere else.
Trust me; the parking lot is empty...
Read moreFor the past 15 years, Denny’s has been my go-to spot, especially for breakfast, though I’ve definitely enjoyed my fair share of lunches and dinners too. But breakfast always wins! Whether it’s their classic pancakes, hearty skillets, or a fresh cup of coffee to start my day, there’s just something comforting and consistent about a Denny’s meal.
I’ve visited many Denny’s locations across Miami, from Coral Gables to Miami Beach to Flagler and every one has brought something a little different, but familiar in the best way. Lately, I’ve been frequenting the location on Virgin Gardens, which has become my favorite and closer to my home thanks to the outstanding team there. Over the years, I’ve followed some of the best servers, Monica, Gaby, Liz, and Jose who always go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. It says a lot when the staff knows your name, remembers your order, and truly treats you like family.
What sets Denny’s apart for me is the friendly atmosphere, quick service, and great value. Whether I’m dining in for a quiet solo breakfast, grabbing a bite with friends, or stopping in late night, I know I can count on a consistent, satisfying experience.
Thank you to the Denny’s team for making this longtime customer feel right at home, time and time again. You’ll always be my favorite spot to start (or...
