I've only been once so far and plan to return for future metal shows, but I gotta wonder where the heck security was on 8/13/24, and I'm pissed off that we had to miss most of King 810's set after what happened with that very drunk (at least), very big dude that through the course of the evening was allowed to get increasingly more aggressive to the point that, imo he should've been thrown out, but then he eventually fell and cracked his head open on the concrete floor. Dude was trying HARD to get up on that stage, but PATRONS were the ones who had to handle it instead of being able to enjoy the show! Not cool at all, and y'all advertise a kid friendly environment! I'm sorry, but unchecked behavior like that is NOT something that I want my children witnessing. That said, I hope dude is OK, and I hope that y'all arrange for better security to keep all of us safe while we patronize your great establishment, because other than that, we quite liked it there!
I appreciate your response, but where were you while he was forcefully trying to get up on the stage several times, and then managed to get up there briefly before patrons tactfully got him down? THAT'S when he should've been at the very least been told to simmer down. Maybe then he wouldn't have gotten injured?? Who knows... Also, I'm glad to hear that King 810 were cool enough to finish their set, but unfortunately we weren't able to wait around for that chance (so I deleted where I said everyone's...
Read moreWent there last night for a metal concert of some local bands. The place has an atmosphere of a locale for regulars who enjoy playing pool and eating some American favorites (burgers, hot wings, french fries, etc). The main bar/grill/poolhall area is clean, cozy, and not overly loud. The pit area in the back where the loud live music happens is sectioned off in a way that the volume won't disturb the patrons in the front area. The food is good and so is the service. They have a good selection of beverages at the bar. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Amber "Batman" at the bar is a really sweet person! The pit area at the back is great for small concerts. There's some limited seating room, a separate bar for this area, and plenty of standing space to view the bands playing/enjoy moshing. Overall a great experience, one of Richmond's hidden gems if you love rock music (live or played from the restaurants speakers) and good...
Read moreFirst time here and I must say, this place is off the radar, but ON everything you'd want in a neighborhood restaurant/ bar.
Nice pool tables Friendly bartenders Excellent basic Bar food.. GET THE GARLIC WINGS and BURGER!
Here you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, where politics are left in the parking lot, and ALL are welcome.
The Cheeseburger was on point. it's a little smaller in diameter than you'll find in some places, but it's hand-formed thick patty makes for an excellent filling meal.
And those wings....soooo good. Crispy thin skin with juicy tender flavorful meat in any of their flavor combinations. There's not many flavors but they're all good. They're not soaked in sauce, but full of deliciousness
It's refreshing to have a place like this that has the bar, bands, booze and burgers you usually will only find in The Fan or downtown.
Stop in once and it will end up on your...
