Read moreUpdate: 6/21/25 This is a four and half stars. We haven't been here in awhile. I believe there is a new owner. I believe breakfast is a new thing tlfor thus restaurant. We decided have breakfast. I started with an espresso which I really enjoyed. I had Tony's steak and eggs. Eggs over medium. I had hashbrowns and a side if bacon and a biscuit. We also had the Farmers omlet with hashbrowns and bacon and marble rye toast. I am one of those people who like a well done steak. This was cooked perfectly. Well done, not dry. Very juicy and flavorful. They know how to cook a steak. I like my eggs over medium and bacon crispy. Both were perfect. Service was very good. Folks are very friendly. The ambiance was very casual. We will definitely be back for breakfast.
Excellent food and Service. Restaurantis clean and folks are friendly. Food is delicious and well seasond. I am a fan if there specials listed on the board as you come in. Love the lamb shank. Tender flavorful and meat just falls off the bone. I am a big fan if there French onion soup. There stuffed eggplant is a major winner. Something worth trying. Amazing flavors. We had the calamari, the Greek souvlaki platter was delicious. The half chicken caught my eye. I will try that next time I go back. We also had a spinach inlet and a Greek burger. All were well seasoned and delicious. I haven't been here in a while. Not sure why. But we will be coming back! 4/6/2023 Tried a pepperoni and green pepper pizza which was really good. We also had chicken souvlaki platter which was ok. The trio dip was very good. Service is...
Read moreI was invited to meet an old friend for dinner and she recommended going to Anthony's in Falls Church. Anthony's is a very fine Greek restaurant which serves other menu favorites from sandwiches to pizza. In my hour plus stay at the restaurant, I saw a pizza every 7 minutes or so get picked up and taken out. For a Greek restaurant to be serving that many pizzas tells you something. My friend had the chicken souvlaki platter and I had the gyro platter. Each order came with a Greek salad and fries. A generous order of garlic bread came with the salad, as did several pieces of pita with the entree. There was a large serving of meat with each dinner, enough for a good doggie bag lunch. We were too full to have dessert, but as we rested from the meal and continued to talk over teas, I finally looked around at the restaurant. Anthony's has a nice airy but cozy charm. It has a "meeting/party" room off to one side for larger gatherings. My friend stated she first came here having picked Anthony's for a work party luncheon. She said the staff was very accommodating to the needs of her group of 20 and all were happy with the lunch. As I continued looking around, there were at least 10 small groups of 2 to 4 people eating and chatting with six or seven people at the bar. So, I definitely am not the only one who was enjoying Anthony's tonight. You should come and have a relaxing...
