Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Virginia

This experience was the absolute worst I have ever had in my Life.. we came to eat with a neighbor that had asked to take my husband and I out. We waited 20 minutes then received 9 wings a piece and she received a salad.. I ate 2 and asked for a box and ordered a few fried shrimp and that was It.. the waitress said okay came back with the box and said she could do it this once and I expressed oh that’s fine I could care less I don’t want the wings as we were waiting for our scrimp the Manager stopped at our table very rudely and expressed you guys are cut off we all look at each other in confusion As he’s walking away and I said excuse me what?? He said you guys are cut off you can’t order anymore because you can’t ask for a box I said excuse me I can care less about a box and that’s all that you had to say in a respectful way he walked away aggressively grabbed the checked Bumped into my husband to handed him the check and continued to say we were cut off my husband called the cops which were much needed in this weird situation..the friend we brought asked for a box for her FULL PRICE salad.. he then rudely told her she couldn’t have a box for her salad we waited outside for the officers and expressed the situation they completely agreed and even expressed that them themselves would not be coming to eat here and that it was unacceptable the officer went inside to speak to the manager and came out expressing that the server we had dropped the F bomb and expressed that it was her fault it was her misunderstanding all of this because of lack of knowledge and a Manager that should not be a Manager!! Good job Applebees for being disrespectful in the complete wrong you lost a ton of service from multiple families ! Absolutely...

A family dinner with all 9 of us doesn't happen often. So when I suggested Applebee's for the Zombie drink and the pasta dishes, my family was all for it. Sadly, it was awful. We waited 45 minutes for cold, burnt, overcooked food in a relatively vacant dining area. If it wasn't overcooked, it was raw. My 8 year old daughter was hungry and very excited to eat her pizza. She's not a picky eater at all, so when she asked if she could spit her food out I knew something was wrong. It was burnt, like completely black on the bottom. Hungry and disappointed, she started to cry. My mom shared her pasta with her. So she didn't have to wait another 45 minutes to eat. My niece's pizza was burnt, too. But she was happy with her strawberries and yogurt. And a big plate of mozzarella sticks didn't hurt. My pasta was gummy because of how overcooked it was. Definitely let down. The chicken and broccoli alfredo used to be my favorite before they took it off the menu. So my dad gave me his food. He said he was happy just drinking a few beers. My brother ended up biting into a raw egg on his burger. Over easy is one thing, but when it's dripping off the burger... That's so not ok. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1: the service was AMAZING! Jamie was our server. She was attentive, kind, and happy to help us out. Even when we kept bugging her for something or another, she did everything with a smile on her face. Because of Jamie and the manager who listened to our complaints, we'll still go back to Applebee's. They were wonderful and saved us from dealing without dinner. I wasn't about to go home and cook so late at night when I was looking forward to going out for the first time in 3 months. Lesson learned: don't let me make...

The only reason there is a one star is because that is the lowest it could go ! Service was bad management was bad ! I was there with another couple and their kids. They ordered water with lemon and the waiter brings the water with no lemon! Says he’s going to get the lemons after a little while comes back with them in his bare hands drops one in my friends drink proceeds to do the same to his wife’s drink before she stops him ! So they ask for new waters he takes the waters back to kitchen then brings the waters right back.. he just took their straws out. You could tell they were the same because of the condensation on the glasses. So they tell him just to bring them soda he proceeds to take the glasses back while rolling his eyes. So they tell the manger who does not apologize just says he will take care of it! He then changes our waiter. He was better but the food was like warm. Then we had to go to bar and flag someone down so we could pay our bill We waited like 10 mins..(Which the manager only took the drinks off) while we stood there waiting to pay I had to step back to let a mouse pass! ( SOO UNSANITARY)Then they messed our bill up! I WOULD NOT take my dog to eat at this place or even a hog if that tells you anything about this place! YUCK!!!!!!! I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!!!
