Stumbled across this place after an epic sofa marathon with my ferret (wife). What a find! She was so hangry this place possibly saved our marriage.
Freshly made before my very eyes were thin based, stone fired pizzas, and you can also create your own. The ingredients selection is not as vast as other pizzeria's however I see this as a positive thing. Most things you would expect are available and the important thing is the quality and freshness of the ingredients is excellent. It took about 5 mins to cook and was excellent to eat. It is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, and I have eaten pizza in many countries around the word including Italy.
You can eat inside or outside and it has more of a fast food vibe however this did not detract from the eating experience. The only thing I would say that needs improving is a list of available toppings at the front. When they ask you for your order at the beginning you don't have a clue what you can add (unless I missed this) and I ended up adding stuff as they were making it.
The young lady who was making my pizza also identified me as coming from the UK which made my day as every American thinks I come from Australia. An English and Australia accent sound nothing alike, you need to get out more America.
If you are married or have a significant other, you will also be pleased to know that we did eventually manage to agree on a sofa....well sort of...we brought a sofa each. Compromise and a happy marriage is expensive.
Anyway, Blaze is excellent, great value for money and we will be going back many times...
Read moreI don't tend to eat out much due to my food allergies, which can be quite severe. Five days ago after meeting a friend for a pedicure date, we were hungry and decided to give this place a try. It took me longer than some to look around as I wanted review what my exposure possibilities might be after seeing how everything was set up. The kind woman at the counter was already really chipper when she greeted us, but I was blown away shortly after my friend ordered and it was my turn. After I'd stated what I wanted from the menu and before I could say it myself, she asked if I had any food allergies. Never have I ever been asked about my allergies when I ordered. I've been waiting for the day that I could eat at a restaurant without fear of needing an EpiPen... Until this Blaze Pizza. I could've cried. Safe wrote down my allergy on my order sheet and she even told the staff-loudly and clearly- to change their gloves to "cauliflower" gloves, which meant they'd be free of my allergen right from the start. I chose a simple cheese pizza on cauliflower crust and my friend had a half specialty pizza. A half pizza!! Not enough slices to make a half, but they actually cut the already rolled dough in half. It's was so cool! Both of our meals were perfect and I can't wait to...
Read moreThis location is questionable. The food is fine if the person preparing it washes their hands. There’s a lady who wears a hat who cleans up the space, which is good, but then she will run behind the counter to write down your order on the paper that your pizza goes on after it’s prepped. She touches her hair and other stuff then picks up the marker and puts her hands on the paper. It’s kind of gross. However when I asked her to wash her hands she did, after she told me that she wasn’t touching the food. She didn’t understand that her hands are touching things that contact the food. I’ve encountered her several times and I’ve just walked out. There was hair in my pizza once, the manager was apologetic and made me another one. I hadn’t been in months but my kid wanted to go the other day and I walked in and the person who takes your order and writes on the paper was scrolling on their phone, then tucked their hair behind their ear and prepared to write on the pizza paper. We left. All I could think about is how many people take their phones to the bathroom and rarely clean them. To see a food service worker using their phone in the food prep area was disgusting. I hate that my kid loves their product but we don’t go there because...
