We went to pay and the card reader wasn’t doing anything. We asked what was going on and if it was working several times and Mohammad ignored us. Later he said the system was offline and called his boss who said to “see what he can do.” Mohammad stared silently at the screen for quite sometime. After 20-30 minutes of waiting and needing to be somewhere else, we asked what could be done, if he could call someone, we needed to go. He was extremely rude with us for even asking and accused us of not having money to pay for the food when we did, but his system was down and wasn’t working. He then yelled at a woman behind us asking if he could make her sub while the register reboot. Very rude man who never apologised once, never offered to help rectify the long wait, ignored us speaking to him, and was very unsympathetic. Our food was cold by the time the system finally reboot and he let us take our food. Were taken off and thrown back into containers too be served to someone else. I questioned this only to be looked at like I had three heads. Girl picked up another container from the back and didn't change gloves before resuming to make our subs. I said forget the subs. They started taking everything off the subs and throwing it all back into the containers. Asked them if they had ever heard of cross contamination or been trained in food safety and all I got was a deer in the headlight look. No manager was on duty at the time. One sandwich had all its toppings. The protein bowl ended up as a sandwich, without the lettuce I ordered. The second sandwich was missing capicola, leaving it with just ham. No lettuce or cheese on it either, like I ordered.
If you're out of ingredients, at least say something. Offer substitute ingredients or something extra for the trouble.
Expected the bare minimum, but was still surprised. Just get food...
