Items extremely often out of stock for online orders/grocery delivery. So very disappointing. How do I know how I can get a product when I canât tell itâs maybe low stock or something when Iâm ordering, but then itâs out when the shopper tries to get it? Very confusing, not informative practice w the online shopping etc. So sloppy and not transparent or user friendly to shop online here. Not seeming like a legitimate option for groceries because items always out of stock that I order and I canât tell until the shopper tries to get the things, so I canât try to plan for something else. Very non functional, not doable, so horrible and upsetting. Happens every order I make now there is at least one item out. The last time I ordered (Friday) there were four items out. Super Nice products at this store, but not easy to shop here cuz thereâs no way to deal w out of stock items, no info beforehand. Items not marked âmay not be availableâ are still unavailable very, very often. Was told when I called the store to cancel my order that an item I tried to order today was there, but the shopper couldnât find it and I was told I should tell the shopper to check again. I just gave up. Why cannot he find it? It is kind of a big deal to not get your planned for items. Maybe someone should care enough to make sure that if things are in stock a person can get them?? No way for employee shoppers to check to make sure whether items are out of stock?? Very strange. Things are very bad in present times. Itâs not important anymore for things to be okay, but thatâs a bit of an understatement. Something else is a priority, but it is hidden. Itâs to be apparent here that things arenât making sense as possible to really be okay. Thatâs to be too good to be true for things to be really nice (really for certain people like who will tell stuff, ie tell the truth). Itâs a weird time. It is post apocalyptic times and itâs to win for things to be more desperate and just meager and not okay but then be just how things are and have to be. No one is to say things could be possible to ever be too bad to be true here, but how things are here is this. It is not the true reality here where things are very bad for certain people. Itâs not to be told who the people are that arenât doing okay. Lots of stuff untold, hidden. And very not transparent at this store also in the ways I told. Other ways, too, but not going to tell all of it here. Some things confusing and thatâs not good. That is where the individual...
Read moreToday at Wegmans, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was an oyster event taking place on the patio from the hours of 5:30pm - 8:30pm. I looked at my watch to see the time and it was 5:28pm. The timing was perfect so my boyfriend, cousin, and I decided to stop buy and order a plate of oysters before purchasing our groceries. We walked out onto the patio and were handed a menu before being told to take a seat.
After looking over the menu we waited patiently for 20 minutes to see if anyone was coming to ask for our order. I was unsure whether or not we were supposed to order the food ourselves at the oyster station or if a waitress would be coming by our table. I explained my confusion to one of the employees and he politely told me that a waitress would stop by at any minute. At this point, most of the tables began filling in around us.
We waited another 10 minutes for our waitress to take our order - it has been 30 minutes since we entered the patio and still no one has come...
Finally we saw the waitress coming towards our direction, but much to our dismay she took the order from the table in front of us. They only waited for 10 minutes before having their order taken. Another table across from us who only waited 15 minutes also had their order taken before anyone had come to where we were seated.
My cousin very politely walked towards the waitress at the oyster counter and explained that we still had not been helped despite having waited for service the longest. The waitress apologized and assured us that she would be there at any second.
10 more minutes.....
My cousin got up once more and politely again explained to a different employee that we had been waiting 40 minutes now just to have our order taken. Instead of taking our order, the lady passed the issue along to someone else and told my cousin the same thing we had been hearing for the past 40 minutes - your waiter will be with you shortly.
We waited another 10 minutes...
I drew the line and got up once I saw the tables around us getting their food, and we still had not yet had our order taken.
Please take these criticisms into consideration when planning for your next...
Read moreWe've had two experiences here. The first was pretty darn good and the second was disappointing. The first time we went we got the biscuits and gravy and grandma's pancakes. The biscuits and gravy has a different taste to them than we're used to, but it was very good. The pancakes were THE BEST PANCAKES ever! Just absolutely fell in love. We both also got cafe au laits which we thought were tasty. Also, we scored a spot in the sofa chairs which were very comfortable. We loved lounging.
On both visits, there were a LOT of flies buzzing around. I figured they would fix that problem by my next visit, but I was wrong. They really need to get some fly strips or stop leaving the kitchen door open...
The second time we went, the few spots with comfortable chairs were taken, so we were forced to sit elsewhere which made me realize just how awful their seating is. Most of the seating is uncomfortable. We wanted espresso drinks, but the espresso machine and the milk frother were broken, so we settled for regular coffee which tasted average. We ordered biscuits and gravy again which still tasted fine, but came out straight up cold. I decided to get the tomato and spinach omelette to be healthier, and it was disappointing. Very little flavor. The tomato and spinach on the inside were not cooked which I found strange. It was like eating a salad wrapped in eggs.
The wait staff on both occasions were very professional and polite.
Unfortunately, I do not think I will be returning for anything but the pancakes from now on. It just isn't stellar and honestly, there are cheaper places you can go for an omelette where there's actually a flavor and...
