I’ve eaten at Brick House before - both dine in and carry out and the food has always been pretty good. They get very busy and it’s not a very big space so sometimes it’s not perfect but that’s fine. But today i had a HORRIBLE carry out experience for breakfast. I get that they’re busy but they were screwing up my order from the start. I got there, picked up my order and walking to the car realized it didn’t seem like there were enough containers in the bag. So I went back in, told them about it. They said they’d get the missing omelet made up for me. I voiced concern about the other items getting cold and they took them back to the kitchen area to “keep them hot” while I wait. All ok so far. Not great but things happen. After a bit they brought me my order. It had the right number of containers and the right things were written on them. I get home and first of all , 2 of the 3 meals were stone cold (in my car they were in an insulated bag for the 6 minute drive home). But worst of all, the box marked Biscuits & Gravy combo had no biscuits & no gravy. Just home fries & 2 eggs. So I call the restaurant, tell them about the new problem and am told that a manager will call me back that afternoon. Since by that point it would be too late to really fix anything I drive back to the restaurant with the non-biscuits & gravy, leaving my partner to reheat the other items so she and her father can at least go ahead and eat. I get there and the manager comes to process a refund on the biscuits & gravy. The same manager that I was told was too busy because they were “working the line in the kitchen”. THAT is what infuriated me. I should not have had to drive all the way back just to talk to someone to try and fix this. By that point I was done and we definitely won’t be returning. Mistakes happen. It’s how you try to fix them that’s the key and Brick House failed on that...

I was really excited to try this place because of the excellent reviews. I ordered a to go order over the phone and that was an easy pleasant experience. Unfortunately when I arrived the staff treated us like we didn’t belong there. We awkwardly waited at the front of the restaurant for our order while the staff buzzed around us barley acknowledging us or saying excuse me or anything. It was very uncomfortable and we just felt in the way. We were told the food would only take 15-20min to make and we arrived 15 min after placing the order and then had to wait N additional 20 minutes before our food was brought out. We were told “it’ll be a couple more minutes”…more like 15. Not really sure why 2 burgers and a cheese fries order took 30+ minutes??? We picked at the cheese fries in the car when we left the restaurant and they were barley warm. The flavor of our burgers was pretty good but needed a little salt and pepper since it doesn’t taste like there’s much or any seasoning in the meat. It was odd though that both burgers that we ordered came with bacon but one of the burgers had bacon strips while the other had bacon crumbles, wasn’t expecting that and it seems odd. Both sides, sweet potato fries and tater tots, were fried in oil that wasn’t hot enough. Both potato sides were oily and not very crispy… both signs of low temperature frying. The WORST however really didn’t come until today…. Ohhhh today has been rough. I’m home wondering if I’ve actually been food poisoned by my meal yesterday. My partner and I split the cheese fries for lunch and saved our burgers for dinner. It was the only food we ate yesterday and today we’re both frequent flyers to our two bathrooms in our house. We...

My sister, my boyfriend, and I came here for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. I found this restaurant from a quick Yelp search and realized I drive past it often. I love finding food gems in my area.

Cons: Parking. Their parking lot is a decent size for the size of the establishment. However once we pulled in we could tell they were popular as we got the last available parking spot. This could be an impact due to COVID precautions and people waiting in their cars to be seated My sister said her French toast could've been sweeter. Although she said it was cooked well she felt the cinnamon outweighed the sweetness

Pros: I observed everyone properly masked and parties were appropriately spaced a part. They also have covered outdoor seating available Although they were busy I truly liked that one of the hostesses came and took our drink orders while we waited for our server. She also let us know she'd be with us shortly PANCAKES!!!!! I got the special blueberry white chocolate chip pancakes for an up charge with my ultimate skillet and they were my favorite thing I ate. They were perfectly sweet and cooked and honestly they should be on the menu permanently. My boyfriend had the regular pancakes and loved his as well The bacon was also a huge hit at our table. Honestly all of the meats were lol to include the country fried steak

Definitely a hit. Breakfast goes until 11:30 on Saturdays apparently. As we were finishing up lunch was starting and being brought out to other patrons and the food looked...

My wife and I had dinner here Saturday night, which we have gone here for many years. The service was good as well as the food. However, about 3/4 of the way through our meal we had roaches crawling on the wall next to our table. Several roaches which one fell off the wall onto the floor and then crawled back up the wall. Our waitress brought us our bill and when giving her our credit card we quietly showed her the roaches on the wall and said she should probably let someone know. She responded with “Oh cool” and took our credit card to process for payment. No apology, nothing. I contacted Brickhouse through their website Saturday evening and didn’t get a response until Monday evening. Their response was less than acceptable (See attached picture of the response) ““ And as you said in your email you’ve been coming in for a long time . So we do appreciate that however things do happen in the restaurant business”” This was part of the response, “things do happen in the restaurant business” I will be contacting the Chesterfield Health Department this week as well as letting everyone in person and on social media about how roaches is just one one of the things that happen in the restaurant business, crawling on the wall next to you as you eat.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Brickhouse Diner location at Westchester Commons, and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and has that perfect balance of cozy and lively that makes you want to stay a while. It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the doors. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish, and it definitely shows. Everything we had was delicious and left us excited to come back and try more of the menu. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone feels taken care of. A special shout-out goes to Jodi, my waitress, who was absolutely super awesome! She went above and beyond to make the experience memorable so friendly, helpful, and professional. Big kudos to her for truly making the meal even better. I can’t wait to go back to Brickhouse Diner at their new spot. Between the amazing atmosphere, great food, and top-notch service, this place is definitely a winner.
