I will start off by saying, my family and I have had food from this location 2x in the last 10 days (1 take out and 1 dine in). The first time the wings were so overcooked that it was like chewing a tire that just came off a salted road after a snow storm. We called one of the managers said they would comp our meal next time. He offered reasonable explanation and tried to make it right. Then today, my family decides to dine in after a trip to target in the same shopping center and knowing we had a comped meal. Upon entering the restaurant, the greeter was mute and void of personality, did not talk or interact - completely unwelcoming. The only bright spot was the server. She was sweet and tried to do her best. We told her about our previous situation and she informed the GM that we were in the books and the GM confirmed our bill would get a credit for the previous charges. Upon getting our food, the wings were no better than last time. So OVERCOOKED. MY wife told the server who told the GM. The GM sent her back to tell us if they did another batch they would be the same as their equipment was set to 14 min. Well, guess what ⦠14 min is too long. She offered sauce to make them more moist - like putting lipstick on a pig. Canāt fix overcooked and dry! My wife and daughter ate 6 of 20 wings and I ate 5-6 of my 15 wings. We normally bring the leftovers home but today, we said just keep them. The server was completely sympathetic to the situation and did her best. The GM should no more be a GM than I should be an f-15 fighter pilot (which I should not be as cool as it is). She never once came to see us or discuss with us after 2 horrible food experiences. She doesnāt deserve the title or the pay associated with being a GM. Oh, did I mention the sweet tea was so sweet that it was drinking sugar water.
Needless to say, we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeird, I have reviewed this location before after terrible experiences the past 4-5 years, but that review appears to be deleted.
Sons and I decided to give the location another try for old times sake and we were pleased to see that it had been remodeled. Looks good inside. Ate on a Monday, it wasn't busy, but I also didn't notice dirty / un-bussed tables that are the norm for the ownership team from several years ago. I think they've also installed some additional/bigger TVs which is a plus.
Took a bit for the waitress to come to our table but after she did service was decent, she checked on us and our order came out correctly. Wings, fries and side salad were all good and prepared well. I like wings a bit crispy and thats how they cook them, so if you like a juicier wing, there are other sports bars in the area you may want to choose.
Price was more than fair in a time when many restaurants are charging an arm and a leg for dine in eating. Also download the app as they had offers and we were able to get a free 6 boneless wings with our order.
After 4-5 years of being really disappointed with this location (after frequenting it 2-3 times a month the 5 years prior), I felt this visit was much improved. Buffalo Wild Wings can be a great restaurant for families and I'm hoping the ownership team has learned (or changed) and is more engaged now. This one trip makes me hopeful they have and plan to go back on a busier night to see if the old poor management issues of dirty tables and inattentive staff are an issue on a busy night.
Do like the remodel and gave atmosphere a 4 as my family knows to always wear sweatshirts (even on hot days) as they keep it cold in the front-of-house seating area. Probably needs to be 3-4 degrees warmer for the average customer, so loss of 1 atmosphere star for being too cold inside.
Overall, pleased with...
Ā Ā Ā Read more8/4/22 2200 My wife and I came in. We're waiting to be seated so we could eat. There was a lady in front of us trying to be seated outside but since the screener Erin told them no, the lady had to ask for the manager Jacob. Jacob agreed.
2216 We're still waiting to be seated. Aside from the screener Erin and Manager Jacob, there were also 2 servers (one black, one white) who were serving near the reception area that saw us. None of them asked us if we've been helped or not. It's cool, maybe they were really busy.
2217 Another 2 customers came in. Maybe a couple? Not sure. Anyway, I kid you not, less than a minute, one of the servers (the black dude) asked them "for two? Follow me".
2220 Still at the waiting area, trying to be seated (im patient am i? I was still in a good mood considering i was hungry and just left the gym). Screener Erin went back to the reception area, went straight to the computer. I was right in front of her mind you. Yet she proceeded with her business until I approached her. I asked her if she works here. She said "yes, but my shift just ended".
In my mind I was like "wow..". I was speechless for a second then I asked her if the service here is usually like this? But that was a rhetoric. I did not plan to listen to her reasons. I just asked her name and the manager's name on duty then left.
2223 I went to my car, called the restaurant phone number and talked to Jacob. I was like what the hell dude? You saw us but ignored us. We talked a lil bit, then I hang up.
I hope no one experience this here or at any other place! Sorry for the long post! Here, have some...
