Burger King — Restaurant in Virginia

Just avoid this place all together unless you like disappointment, cold food, wasting time, and frustration.

A few weeks ago after a very long night I went through the drive thru for something fast. Ordered my husband's combo, my combo, and 2 pies. The attendant (caucasian kid speaking English) read back the order and I said no, I wanted the actual beef a1 bacon burger not the chicken tender crisp. He said okay and I said yes the burger NOT the chicken. I pay and look at the receipt...still says tendercrisp...I ask again if I'm getting the beef A1 not the chicken and the kid says yes. I get my order and pull into a parking space, open the wrapper of my burger. ..of course it's chicken. Pull back into the lot, go inside and say it's wrong, the manager yells to the back for the beef burger and the kid from the window apologized to which I said "that's fine and all but that's why I asked over and over to make sure it wasn't the chicken". The manager hands me a new burger and says keep the wrong one. I get home (I should have checked before leaving again but I assumed after one mess up I'd be okay. ...nope) and I have a cheese burger with ketchup on it. Not my A1 bacon cheese burger, I mean seriously not even close. After an open to close shift at work, I just threw it on the table, didn't even have an appetite anymore. They also messed up my husband's order as well totally wrong item but since I wasn't familiar with it I didn't catch it. I called and said I wasn't going back up there tonight but I wanted my money back. I went up the next day and I only got back the money for my burger not the whole order which is whatever I didn't want to deal with it anymore. Never again. How can an establishment be so lazy and completely unsatisfactory to the point of just putting whatever in a bag and hoping it's close to...

Every few months I give this place another try, and always regret it.

The interior looks great, one of the newer remodels but it won't last long. Floor is always sticky, trash always over flowing, tables never clean and this is even at early hours, possibly meaning that they're not taken care of before closing down for the night. There were several folks working in the kitchen but no one was cleaning, guy on the register was texting/talking on the phone. It's primarily young adults, with a manager who would rather be their friend.

This past visit we ordered 2 whoppers w/cheese, a bottle of water, coke and an order of the new mozzarella sticks (4 pc). The water was warm, coke machine surrounded by sticky syrup and several empty cups, and mozzarella sticks had clearly been sitting out for a while. The whoppers were equally unimpressive, from the buns not being toasted, only one had cheese, the pickles/onions were stacked and not spread out at all, same for condiments just being globbed on and not spread. Also not sure how a burger that also tastes like it had been sitting there for some time, was still pink inside.

There are clearly no standards here. It's not a surprise the parking lot is often empty. It's not Millennials destroying the fast food industry, you're...

We walked in, and we were the only customers in the line. The staff was socializing with each other (which is fine), but they ignored us, and it took over 7 min for them to come over and take our order. We almost walked out.

They took our order and gave us our receipt only to get our order wrong.

We asked for them to correct it, and they begrudgingly agreed to after we should them the receipt and sandwich.

They again got the sandwich wrong.

We asked a 3rd time for them to provide us with the correct order. They tried to refuse to correct the sandwich, even though we showed them the receipt and sandwich yet again.

After 5 min of back and forth, they cursed under their breath, calling us something and FINALLY, on the 4th time, FOURTH TIME, they provided us with the "correct" sandwich. Which, I was a little nervous to eat by how the situation had gone. I didn't trust that they had not done something to my food.

Feel free to check out the photo of my sad sandwich. Who would pay $5 to come back for that??!!

It should not be this hard to provide 1 sandwich. If I could give them negative stars, I would.
