As a 40-something and not-first-time bride, I couldn't imagine doing a standard issue bachelorette party, but I did want to get out and enjoy some pre-wedding fun with my closest girlfriends. I had the idea of touring some of Virginia's beautiful wineries, but I couldn't imagine asking anyone to DD a day out like that! Enter Divine Wine Tours--they were fantastic.

Melissa, our wonderfully fun tour guide, picked up our pre-arranged private tour at our designated location, and we were off. We visited three wineries--all based on my selections, but I strongly recommend letting Divine Wine Tours choose and arrange everything for you, as they have a ton of experience here--and had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the wine and scenery at each one, with tastings led by winery staff at each stop.

We opted to have lunch at one of our stops, and Divine Wine arranged this, too, sending us a menu to choose from before the tour day. They placed the food order and had it packed and ready to go--Melissa brought out lunch out while we enjoyed a beautiful deck view at the second winery we visited.

On top of the ace transportation and great humor, Melissa also took a ton of photos of our group, so I didn't have to worry about remembering to pull out my phone for photos (particularly as we, uh, drank more and more wine!). After the tour, I received all the photos from our day out, and they are a wonderful souvenir.

I can't recommend this company highly enough. I'm writing this now from within Virginia's COVID-19 stay-home order, and I am already dreaming of doing another tour--no special occasion this time except that we'll be able to get back out to VA's gorgeous wine country with a company that really knows...

After reaching out to several local wine tour companies in the area, and not finding what I was looking for, I came across DiVine Wine Tours. DiVine Wine Tours offered the complete package for my vision of hosting my little sisters 21st birthday party. From the moment we were picked up, we never felt lost, rushed or unsure of what we were doing. The bus was comfy, clean and fit the whole group. The wineries and tastings were fun and intimate. The food and cake were delicious. And DiVine provided a photographer the whole time to make sure all of our memories were captured which allowed everyone to put away their phones.
