The team at Affinity helped me build a brand new gaming PC from the floor, up. I was helped as soon as I walked in, which is nice to see. The person helping me (I think the owner, maybe?) listened to my plans/needs, and then walked me through recommendations for the build. They put together a full order and showed me the price. Surprisingly, they are literally a few dollars more than what I was researching online.

What really blew me away was the level of detail with which they were able to recommend components. I'm glad I went because their advice saved me from buying incompatible components that I had queued up online. I also got an education on how to plan for upgrades in the years to come.

Much of what I needed for the build was available at the shop, except the processor. They special ordered a Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread processor, which arrived the morning after the following day.

Save some time and trouble and have knowledgeable person help you put together the right rig for you. I am totally satisfied with the help that I got from Affinity Computer Technology.

Good Service and Reasonable Pricing. Affinity has successfully repaired and upgraded several computers for me over the years, and they have tactfully let me know when the best option is to retire and replace an aging PC. They recently transferred my applications and data from an aging PC that was starting to fail onto a new replacement PC. I was frankly amazed at how little disruption I experienced moving to the new PC. Everything I have tried since the upgrade looks and feels almost exactly like it did on the old system—right down to my icons and shortcuts.

I find their pricing for PCs and components to be surprisingly close to the best prices I find online, with the margins more than justified by the value of being able to have real two-way conversations with knowledgeable sales staff and technicians to make sure that what I am buying will work as expected. More than once, they have steered me away from a solution I thought would work, and I am grateful for their guidance...

I called Affinity to help prepare my home office for a new job. At the time, my new laptop, monitor, printer, and related devices formed a tangle of wires that left little room to move my feet or even my mouse. The machine settings required extensive customization. And my Outlook program kept trying pointlessly to reach my old company’s exchange server. Fortunately, the Affinity expert fixed everything the next day in just two hours. He reconfigured the entire IT set-up for efficiency, supplied additional components – including a “UPS,” which I didn’t even know I needed – and coordinated with me to get the settings just right.
