I guess I will need to travel to the next closest Burger King and not go online anymore because there always seems to be something wrong when I visit/order here...
Visit #3: I went through the drive this time, so I am unsure if they improved the inside. It wasn't great in the past. Everything went well for the most part; the drive-thru person was nice, and the fries were hot (even though I still do not care for them, they are free (any size) with any order in the app), except they forgot one of the items I ordered, a spicy chicken wrap. Luckily, I had ordered extra food, and the app gave me a $5 credit, slightly more than I paid for the wrap, so I wasn't too upset.
I also tried the new Steakhouse Bacon Whopper. It was good, but I thought the sauce, bacon, and fried onions overpowered the meat, which is the best part of the Whopper... I also missed the cheese, raw onion, and lettuce. I think I'll stick with a regular Whopper with Cheese in the future.
I also had the Jalapeno Cheddar Bites (jalapeno poppers). I like the inside. They have a nice and cheesy spice, but I don't like the outside breading much. It tastes like it was frozen, the grease isn't great, or something is off...
Visit #2: The food isn't bad. Everything I had was OK, but they are often out of things on their menu. Jalapeno Cheddar Bites, mozzarella sticks, and now the Southwestern Burger. The jalapeno poppers have been on the menu for months, and I am always told they're out. I tried the new Bacon and Swiss Royal Chicken Sandwich. I asked to add the spicy patty instead of the buttermilk one, but they only added the spicy sauce. I am unsure if that is the only way they make things spicy now or what... I wish they had the Spicy Chicken Jr., and I could have added the extra ingredients, but I didn't see it on the menu anymore.
Also, the Ranch Sauce is gross. It is vinegary.
The environment is what sucks. There are flies everywhere, and they are highly persistent ones. Also, some of the employees have horrible attitudes. Two of them kept snapping at another coworker for messing up (she may be new?). One chewed her out for not being fast enough. That same employee kept saying "shit" and even said, "I don't have time for this shit," when customers were taking too long to figure out their order numbers.
Visit #1: First time physically here. It is interesting how the gas station is attached to a Burger King. It looks like this place may have been nice once. It needs some work. The roof tiles have leak marks, and there are flies.
Both menu items were not on the menu but were on the app. I tried The Big King. It was OK. Something in the sauce I didn't love. I think I'd rather have a Whopper. I also tried the Spicy Chicken Junior. I may have liked it more if it had a different sauce (maybe ranch?). It may have the same ingredient I didn't love in the other one.
App Orders: I ordered on the app (they use DoorDash), and they gave me chicken nuggets instead of jalapeno poppers. They may be out or don't have them anymore, but if so, they should take it off the menu. They did not say anything to me about it either. It has happened twice. Bummer.
I also tried the new Spicy Whopper Melt. It was just OK. The toast may have been better if it had been more toasted and/or if I had eaten it at...
Read moreStopped into this Burger King while filling up on gas during a long drive. I don’t usually drink coffee, but when I’m on the road, I’ll grab a small one—black, no frills, just enough to stay sharp behind the wheel. It was around 8:30 AM, and the place was pretty quiet. The dining room was spacious and totally empty, which honestly made it feel like a peaceful little pit stop. Sometimes you just need that kind of quiet on a road trip.
What really stood out was the service. The guy working the front was also running the drive-thru solo, but you’d never guess it. He greeted me with a warm smile and a genuinely kind attitude, even though he was clearly juggling multiple tasks. It’s rare to see that level of patience and professionalism when someone’s working alone under pressure, especially in the early morning. He held it down like a pro—A+ attitude all the way.
He offered me cream and sugar, but I kept it classic and had it my way: black. Thanks for the offer though! Sometimes it’s the little things—like a friendly face, a hot cup of coffee, and a quiet space to regroup—that make the biggest difference when you’re in transit. Solid experience overall. Appreciate the...
Read moreI have gotten spoiled With all of the new delivery and pick up options that these fast food restaurants are offering. It makes it simple for me to run off the street and grab a quit dinner and bring back home feed the kids, The last 2 times have not went that smoothly. They have on their website they're open till 10 so I ordered a pick up order to do the drive through at 9 when I picked it up at 930 they informed me that they were closed if they could not refund my money they couldn't cook my food and they were not affiliated with their website And then I would have to call customer service the next day and get it straight. This happened not only once but twice one of these times I'm still waiting on my refund. Other than the false advertising of when time they close the inside as normally clean and the staff is friendly and the draft is usually not that crowded but their take out is definitely need some it's an organization and how is a restaurant not affiliated with...
