Waffle House — Restaurant in Virginia

The best waffle house in the area is on Chester Rd. I don't know how they consistently outdo the other locations. I was at Chester Rd Monday and they served up some bacon that brought a tear to my eyes. In contrast, tonight's meal at Willis Rd included almost burnt bacon that was 95% fat, maybe that's why they char it, to make it look like meat 😂. I didn't get the waffle tonight, but the waffle I had yesterday at Chester Rd was a masterpiece of pecanage and flavor. It seemed like the OJ was even larger at Chester Rd. But I can't say for sure. But when Chester Road was open indoors post covid, Willis Road was still closed, in fact tonight was the first time I've caught them not-closed and accepting dine in business since 2020! Just last week (June 2022), I tried to go there and they were takeout only, so I went over to Chester Road... Walked right in, sat right down and had a good meal. They really need to either close this waffle house down, or get serious about running it. It's just sad. I feel bad for the workers who do try to keep it running, their management must...

Let me state that I am a Waffle House fan through and through. The Waffle House franchise, to me, is the best breakfast chain restaurant on the planet. With that said, this particular Waffle House location DID NOT live up to the good name of the franchise. I went to this Waffle House location twice, and both times, I was told that they were only taking “to go” orders and there would be no dine in: “PLAYER, WE ONLY TAKING TO GO ORDERS, NO EATING IN HERE!” —- WHAT? Both times, there were four employees there in an empty restaurant, all playing on their phones. Also, the second time I went there, the restaurant looked very unkempt and dirty (countertops and floors). Maybe it was a good thing that I couldn’t eat in. Who knows. Nevertheless, out of the many Waffle House locations I have been to in the Mid-Atlantic and the South, this one is by far is the worst and the Waffle House brass need to check this one and fix it. The worst Waffle House EVER!!!!!!!! So I am a bodybuilder and I love my steak and eggs. Well I did not know that when you order a second steak which was 7 dollars, with that being said I could have ordered a whole new meal. The staff need to inform the customers of this. I would also add they had a lot of flies flying around in there. They forget to add my extra eggs and to top it all off, when I open one of the little jelly pack, it was melted and yep you guessed it, it went all over my clothes. What really upset me was the manager saw this and never came to apologize or even asked if she can give us a discount. I would like to also add, not trying to be mean but you have a few of those waitresses that had missing teeth and that causes to have really bad breathe. Not trying to be mean but this was a huge disappointment. I would not be going to this Waffle...
