I live 5 minutes from this place but had never been due to food allgeries i have with one being fume reactive. This is an open-air cooking area, but we sat outside, and I had no issues. Our server Joshua was top-notch when it came to asking specific questions pertaining to my allgeries. Started off with a Margarita, and wife had a PainKiller, which was right tasty. They use a black salt on the rim of the Margarita, which i am used to worm salt and enjoy this salt so much. I asked Joshua where i could purchase it, which I will be purchasing for myself. I had the fried calimari and a Nashville chicken sandwich with Nashville fries. The wife had the Classic Smashburger with fries. Food came out hot and was REALLY GOOD! There were 2 sauces with the calimari. The mayo based went perfectly with my fries while the sweet sour paired with the calimari perfect. The fried chicken was fried perfectly, tender, and juicy. The seasoning was perfect on the sandwich and fries for the average person. I have a hot palette, so hot sauce would have been perfect, but i did not ask for it. The wife's burger was cooked perfectly, and she really enjoyed the fresh shredded lettuce and said her fried had the perfect crispness. Overall, a great evening, and we will be back for sure. Oh, last thing the music outside was very enjoyable and not overly loud, which I...

From start to finish, our experience at Charred was nothing short of exceptional. The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcomeāitās rare to see such attentive service these days, and Charred nails it.
Now, the food⦠where do I even begin? Every dish felt like it was crafted with care and love, reminiscent of the highest quality homemade meals. The appetizers were mouthwatering, setting the stage for what was to come. The pastas were perfectly al dente, and each bite was a celebration of flavor. The fish was expertly prepared, tender and flaky, and cooked to absolute perfection. As for the burgers, they were grilled to the perfect doneness, juicy and packed with flavor.
But perhaps the highlight of the evening was the dessert. The peach cobbler, bread pudding, and eggnog crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e were indulgent, creative, and finished off the meal in the most delightful way. Each dessert was a treat for the sensesārich, comforting, and utterly delicious.
Our family left Charred completely satisfied, already talking about our next visit. Itās clear that every detailāfrom the service to the food to the ambianceāis executed with care and expertise. Charred is a true gem, and we canāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was super excited when we walked in. I really liked the aesthetics and the aroma of the food was enticing. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for a table but we were seated in about 20 minutes. When we got to our table, I was super surprised that the seats were very..... communal š (if you're looking for an intimate experience, this restaurant isn't it.) Our waitress was very attentive even though it was super busy. Our drinks came out quickly and they were generously mixed. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer and it was probably the worst I had ever had. It was horribly overcooked and all of the crispy batter had fallen off of 90% of them. Not appealing at all. For the main courses, we had a smash burger and the blackened shrimp Alfredo. You got limited shrimp even with the upcharge and the noodles were dry and stuck together. I couldn't bring myself to eat much of it. The smash burger was very dry and the bun was super soggy. The flavor was pretty good with both. The Nashville fries were delicious as well as the shrimp from the Alfredo dish. For the price of the entire visit, it was an underwhelming experience overall. I'm a firm believer in second chances so we may return and try different dishes but my first visit didn't live up...
