Gelati Celesti Ice Cream — Restaurant in Virginia

I placed an oder through Doordash. Unfortunately, they don’t offer all the flavors online, so I usually call and request to change some of them to rotating seasonal flavors. This time I called, and the manager (she said she was the manager) was very rude and refused to change my order, despite me trying to spend over $50 on a silly ice cream order, and explaining that I did this very often in the past since they don’t offer all the flavors online. Never had issues before and I was very surprised by her rude behavior (when I called in the past everyone was always very welcoming and friendly) but this time I was taken aback by her inconsiderate and rude demeanor. If you think about odering online from this location, save your money. I ended up cancelling the order, and paying for the cancellation fee. No one needs unnecessary headaches, and definetly, they don’t need my business. I won’t be coming back anymore. Not sure what kind of customer service that manager was trying to offer but this is not the right way to treat...

Very disappointed after all the personal reviews and suggestions we've heard about their ice cream. It was beyond overpriced for the amount given (over $10 for 2 single scoops?!?) , and overpriced for the quality as well. I could feel the too large ice crystals in my mouth, which isn't a great quality. Higher milk fat percentages make higher quality ice cream, so that's a place to start with this place. Very good gelato! Love the chocolate decadence!! I only took off one star because of the price point. Very nice, clean, shop and the young man who waited on me was very friendly and helpful. He offered me samples before I made my choices which I appreciated. If cost is a concern, especially for families with children, this may not be the best place for you....
