Last Sunday evening, I arrived at this Chilis location at around 9:59PM and parked near the āTo Goā entrance. There was a DoorDash driver who had also just arrived and he was waiting right by the door. A lady manager exited through the same entrance at 10:05 PM and said that if we tried to enter through that door that nobody would help us. I canāt even believe this blonde woman was the āGeneral Managerā. There were 2 DoorDash orders ready to be picked up on the stand for take out. We could easily see them through the window. This woman and the employees that were sitting at the table near the take out area were obviously aware that the DoorDash drivers were there. Every single one of those employees should work in a different industry. Never in my life have I seen such blatant disrespect for not only the drivers but every other person that tried to enter the restaurant as well. Why would they prepare the orders and play a game like children? Especially in times like these where people are struggling to even afford take out restaurant food. If this woman is really the General Manager, she should get a different job because she lacks the characteristics of any normal, friendly, respectful human being, obviously discriminating the delivery drivers just because they showed up to do their job. Unbelievable! The Chilis workers who closed the restaurant at the Chattanooga Plaza location on Sunday night completely wasted our time and cost us money! Our customers were waiting patiently and then were notified that we had to cancel their orders that were already prepared inside the Chilis.Every single one of those employees should be reprimanded or fired. I will never come to this location again. Iāve worked in the restaurant business in Chesterfield County for almost 30 years and have never witnessed such blatant disrespect from management staff in control of a corporate restaurant, and that says a whole lot! He goes inside comes back out say my balance is 9. 67 cents asked why he told me the computer added up some up charge or something told him what I was stated my options were ) so I asked to speak to the manager by this time it's already4:37 ( which the order was already late! She comes out and says what I ordered was not the 3 for me 10.99 ( so I repeated what the options the girl said I had ! So she said she was gonna have to go make the burger again the Ole timer ( without the bacon ) I knew darn well I was not gonna wait another 30 min. for anther burger when I knew she was gonna go inside my burger and just remove the bacon ( not fix new burgers š! Besides taking quite a while to get our drink orders and just to get an order (1 waitress had a huge area to cover) the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. It made me wonder why we don't come here more often. Then I understood why after realizing the menu is not user friendly at all! You see all the great Chili's Commercials about the great specials of 2 or 3 course meals with Appetizers, Main course and dessert with Some even including a drink for $10, $20, $35. Great deals, but when you look at the menu they make these specials so nonchalant and minuscule that it's like reading that small fine print in a book that looks like Braille. There's no "Hey here are the great specials that we advertised on our great chill's commercials" like most restaurants do as soon as you walked through the door. You literally have to dig and dig to find them and then ask questions to your wait staff afterwards to understand them. So you mostly just order regular menu items which is what I think they want anyway. And order we did! Wow was it really a great taste bud experience. I mean everything and every item on our plate even the items that they brought out for other tables look fantastic. The presentation of the food look just as good as the actual taste of it. I wanted to take pictures of the food and drink but my fingers would not allow me to stop eating. Lol. So if you don't mind a longer wait to get your drink and food order (and don't try to find the commercial specials) this location will not let your mood or taste buds down! Oh and don't forget to ask for a take out container because the portions are much to much to eat...
