Subway — Restaurant in Virginia

Very disappointed. I used to like Subway but this is the last time I'll eat here. Today I'm at the one in Walmart at Chattanooga Plaza, Midlothian, VA. This store is always messy. Tables are rarely cleaned. The last two times I ordered a six inch sandwich, it was no more than four inches. Today I ordered the cheesesteak sub and I swear to you....there wasn't even one whole steakum on that sandwich. It was just four inches of bread and some mayo & lettuce. What's funny is that I don't like overstuffed subs, but daayum! It was nearly empty. I wish I had a scale as the whole sandwich only weighed a few ounces. In as much as the portions and quality are going down, prices are going up! I got the "6 inch" sub, small Doritos & small drink and it cost me $13.52. That included a 15% tip that I now regret giving. I don't think Subway is the kind of place where tipping is warranted but I gave it anyway. ...

Google says they close at 1am, so I didn't think it'd be a bad trip out. We were rudely told they close at 11pm, and a little "friend" of one of the workers decided to make snide comments to us because apparently Google is wrong? The cashier was extremely friendly, though I did not catch his name, he made sure to make us feel welcome, but I'm taking two stars off for apparently being an "inconvenience" to the one making our sandwiches, who decided to not wear a name tag, and practically throw my food at me. I could understand if they were packing up, I've worked in the food business and it totally sucks having rude customers come in at the last minute and pretend they don't know anything, but they weren't even close to cleaning up or beginning, so there's no excuse for the rudeness. The hours listed online for the Chattanooga location say that Subway doesn't close until 9:30 p.m. It was only 9 p.m. when our family was trying to pack our leftovers and clean our trash off of our table when the sorry excuse for a night manager very rudely came over rushing us. When we stated that the hours online said 9:30 p.m. she wanted to respond with "I don't care what it says online you need to hurry up!" Mind you we were very clearly getting ready to leave before she even approached us. She continued to be very aggressively rude and rush us, and then when we called her out on her behavior in front of our children she says, "You don't want these hands" or some immature mess like that.
