Super friendly people, amazing service, and food so good, I literally will not eat Chinese from anywhere else! I had had food from there many times before, but always take out. Well, we decided to finally go in and sit down and eat. I thought the food was perfect before this, but having it so fresh and right out of the kitchen, absolutely blew my mind. It was, hands down, the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant! I also want to mention, we got there about twenty minutes before they closed and at no point did we ever feel rushed, or like a burden. The staff was incredibly nice and the service was outstanding! My girlfriend left her credit card there, this last time and when she called to see if they had it, the young lady she spoke to, could not have been happier to help. The quality of the people and the food really is something you need to experience. My son and I stopped eating at the Chinese place here in Ladysmith. We moved from spotsylvania county a year ago so today my son went to China wok on Courthouse Rd to get food for me since he had to work tonight. Well when the food got here I was sorely disappointed. The Kung Poa Chicken was nothing like what I’d had before at this very restaurant. The dish is sopposed to be spicy.....it certainly was not. No heat what so ever. It was bland and almost tasteless like the spices were forgotten. The egg rolls I ordered were mushy. Again not at all up to standard. I called the restaurant this evening and the young lady that answered the phone told me I had to bring the dish back in to get another or a refund. I had no transport to bring it back to Spotsylvania today. I’m a disabled Veteran and I no longer drive. I had to eat, so I ate what I could and threw the rest in the trash. It was truly awful. First let me say... this is the only Chinese restaurant in this area to offer "House Pan Fried Noodles" and if u'v never tried them u don't know what ur missing. Also enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner. We were there on a Tues evening; our server was "Lex" and I can only say I hope the Mgmt and Owners treat her well bc she was extremely conscientious in making sure we had everything we needed to hv a great dining experience & that kind of service is hard to find in many food servers these days. Mgmt needs to treat these youth w/respect when they work hard and are trying to do the right thing. Looking forward to having another great meal with Lex as our server.
