Mi Pueblo Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

This place would have been rated 5stars if the waiter that took our order whom has a tattoo on her right forearm would have been professional at her job. Common courtesy, customer service and professional attributes was definitely needed, drinking on the job can be considered very unprofessional so that's something she needs to work on. If she drinks while owner is around then one can assume owner must drink on the job as well. But the biggest thing that really got me was that the waiter that took our order stated that the cook in the back "the lady" is how she put it, said the reason that I didn't receive my order of rice and beans was because she thought I was American. Not only did that happen, but when I took my toddler to the bathroom the owner approached my wife trying to confirm if she was born here in the states. She felt very uncomfortable. We are Hispanic born in the states and we did speak Spanish while ordering because that is the language they spoke to us when we walked in. Good luck coming here because I will never be back. They need work and definitely need cleaning in...

Horrible! We were at the thrift shop 2 doors down and were hungry, never been to this restaurant before nor will we ever go back. I was with my mother and my 2 toddlers, there was only one other table occupied (I think by family or friends of the restaurant owner). The music was super loud and we had to shout just to carry a conversation, my food seemed a bit soggy, the rice was bland, and my children only ate the fries.. When I went to eat their cheeseburger not to waste food, I saw why my 3 year old spit it out.. I took one bite, and it tasted like something was expired, couldn't tell if it was the cheese, or the burger, but I couldn't even swallow it as it tasted so rotten. $4.50 for an expired burger is plain stupid. The seat backs are the same as the booth behind us and the guys behind me kept pushing it while I was eating which was very comfortable (I'm assuming just re positioning himself a lot). Food was horrible,service was horrible and the bill at the end was ridiculous. Ordered enchilada supreme and all it was,was 4 taquitos with a huge handful of uncut lettuce throwed on top for 12 dollars. Waitress couldnt speak a word of english. A group of mexicans sat over on the corner talking about gringos and acting like fools while helping themselves to unlimited beer while I'm paying 10 dollars for a single shot! Place is filthy and shady!
