Like other reviews have stated, old and dried out food. The rice was horrible and had older, dried out rice mixed in it. That was the theme with all of the dishes they served. The coconut chicken was actually coconut shrimp. The Pork, chicken, and beef were indistinguishable. They had some type of dried out chicken nuggets looking thing next to the actual chicken nuggets that I disected to see what it was (still don't know). The fruit was even worse on the desert side. It had a smell to it that prevented me from being able to try and taste it. Banana pudding had wafers in it but they too were prepared "China Wok Rock" style. They didn't even have the kindness to use real MSG, everything was just 95% salt. Worst of all, it was not cheap. $10.20 each with a water, I wish we had not stopped here.

Formally, the China Wok in the Kmart super center, now relocted on exit 19 next to the Walmart supercenter. Seeing this building from the road gives the illusion that this place is huge. Upon entering, payment is required before sitting, and your drinks are self-serve, which was a little different. Bar was on the smaller side, but the food was really good. At the time of visiting, the atmosphere seemed very chaotic and cramped. Maybe it was just working out the kinks of a new location, but as of right now, it's not horrible, but I've had better.

This is a mediocre establishment. I came here for my first visit and only visit. Food was decent, not super fresh but at least tasted good. The service was just okay, and the place wasn't overly clean or decorated. The place was $15.99 for buffet per. Quite expensive for mediocre food. It was alright. Come here at your own free will.

Our first time at the new exit 19 location. I would grade the food compared to other Chinese buffets in the area. The food quality is in the 3 to 3.5 star range,

The selection of food is in the 3 to 3.5 star range.

Freshness of items on the bar and availabilty of the items offered I'd give a 4.5 star.

Ease of using the buffet bar 1 stars. It's layout is totally backwards. The plates n silver ware are where you have the beef n peppers and so forth. Suggesting to everyone that's where you are to begin. The noodles n rice are at the end of that area.

The buffet is up against the wall so it's single file. N very frustrating as people jump in beside you and over top of you because they were smart enough to go to the other end n get the rice or noodles before they made there other selections.

Cleanliness I would give it a 2 to 3.5 stars. The windows and doors were heavy marked with greasy hand prints. Nothing looked really fresh, smart or overly clean. I did not use the bathroom.

Decor 2 stars. The decor for a new building is very underwhelming, boring, and uncomfortable. Tables and chairs are well used and definitely need to be replaced if they ever want to class it up. But since they are the same people here as were at exit 17 by the old food city, Kmart, I'm sure it's the last thing these owners would do.

It was surprisingly busy . I think we paid about 28 for 2 adult buffets on a Friday night. As far as I can remember, it's been about a month since we visited..

Cost to value and satisfaction doesn't match- my cost to value and satisfaction I get at Loco burrito in glade springs Va or Puerto Nuevo in Abingdon, Va. I know these are not Asian type. But they are the closest non American restaurants I can honestly compare too.

Parking is okay for smaller vehicles but if you have a large 4x4 truck you might want to park in Walmart as it is tight.

Would I go back. Maybe. Not my favorite. I'd only go back if I am really dying for a quick Asian type meal and didn't want to drive an hour away from home. Really miss The Ming and The Diamond house in their prime days. They were worth the drive. Such a loss...

So me and my mom went here about 2-2:30ish and everything was about room temperature and some was hard to eat being that it was hard a rock and then when we left we got about half way home to Bristol Virginia and we both got sick to our stomach and it wasn't pleasant at all... Well I tried to call after I woke up a few hours later from feeling so sick I call there number. I got hung up on 2 times I get a answer the 3rd time I get "ya" I said hello I was hung up on twice he said "I don't know why what you need?" I said is this china wok? He said " ya" I said wow very professional and I proceeded to say that there food was all about room temperature and me and my mom got sick when we was there this afternoon nothing silence so I said thank you have a nice day and hung up. For 11.99 a person to get food like that not worth it. I had a few flys flying around me and they carried ice in a dirty bucket from the back... I stopped drinking my drink right there... Then I seen a table get wiped off next to me with a dry cloth. Will never come here again and I recommend no one else does either. would give no stars if that...

I was in Abingdon for work. This China Wok at 380 Towne Center Dr is not very good...at all. Hands down possibly the worst Chinese place I’ve ever visited. I came with a group of 5 and all of us were displeased. We ignored the bad reviews here.. we now regret that. Dry chicken and hard, stringy Lo mien noodles. When we complained to the guy at the front counter about the dry chicken he just looked at me like I was stupid and tried to pretend he didn’t speak English. Then he said “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else”. He also mocked me and said “omg, the food wasn’t good” and made a funny face at me like I was bothering him.

They are some very weird people here at this place, especially that guy. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered someone as weird and rude, honestly. A lady who was eating in the restaurant at the time caught up with us in the parking lot and told us nobody likes that guy and told us he was the owner. She said there’s not many options around, otherwise she would go somewhere else.

The bad reviews are true. We ignored them and regret it. They are weird, rude and the food...
