Ciro's Pizza Stuarts Draft — Restaurant in Virginia

We spent the weekend at a near-by campground and decided to go out for dinner Saturday evening. What a great decision that turned out to be. We happened upon this place because the grand-kids wanted pizza. It's hard to find a place where you can order by the slice. Grandma and I each got a sub and they were excellent. The bread was perfect with just the right amount of meats and toppings. Not sloppy, not dry. We were both very satisfied with our sandwiches and the grand-kids devoured their pizza. I was also very happy with the price. We had eaten at a more expensive place Friday night and weren't nearly as happy with the food. I love these small. non-franchise operations like this because sometimes, I get pleasantly surprised at their food. This was one of those places. I visited this establishment to pickup a call in order. I stood at the counter for nearly 10 minutes while 4 workers completely ignored me. 1 of them was the manager/owner Tony whom has been there for years. They looked at me multiple times but never said a word to me. But they did manage to answer 2 phone calls and take the call in orders but couldn't address me while I stood there for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. I know they were busy but there were 4 people within 10 feet of me and not 1 of them were willing to help. You do not treat paying customers like this and this shows alot about their integrity and lack of customer service. I certainly will never ever give a dime to this...

I waited for 1 hours and 25 minutes for a single pizza order. I told the young kid at the register about the excessive wait. He replied , "well that's how it goes on a busy night. I simply replied, " oh ok. " As I walked away he shouted across the room, " have you ever been to a busy restaurant before? To avoid a scene I walked away. Two things should have happened on Ciro's part. Firstly, apologize for the wait and secondly, they should have.notified me when I showed up for my order that they missed my order and that it would be another 45 minutes.
