February 13, 2025 - Best time to visit Dairy Queen . . . Cold winter nights! No lines, we had 3 staff waiting on us! 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Do you know why DQ’s can’t say “ Ice Cream” . . . but say tasty DAIRY TREATS?
( FDA requires at least 10% buttermilk fat, to call it ICE CREAM)
Oh well, it looks like ice cream! I go for the chocolate raspberry w/chocolate chunks Blizzard! Yum!
Thank you, Stuarts Draft for opening a DQ near Waynesboro , about 10 mile drive for my wife & I . Several ice cream places close during winter in Waynesboro.
This DQ is open year round! 😃👍🏼 There’s fast food on their menu! We noticed a drive thru! But we walked inside to look around. Pleasantly surprised to see a big “ Take Home Freezer” . . . Loads of frosty dairy treats , cones, cakes, and other delights. We haven’t tried the burgers & fries.
We do like their parfaits, chocolate & vanilla swirl cones, and my favorite are the Blizzards! All kinds of flavors, plus loaded with Candy goodies in a cup! Yummy !

Read moreWent to grab a birthday cake for my brother, we were the only ones inside and completely ignored. The guy kept stocking, made eye contact with us and continued to stock. Someone came out from the break room, looked at us and turned around back to the break room. The 2 girls in the drive through looked at us once then avoided eye contact. Finally since the front is stocked the guy starts ringing us up, no words to us, just tapping at the computer. He charged us too much for the cake so after we paid and I saw the receipt I went back to ask them to fix it. He “guffawed” and walked away, still no words from him. The girl came over and only said “what did he do”, apparently he’s an issue. She refunded us the wrong amount, I corrected her and she said she would give us a discount on our smaller cake, she did but only 3 dollars so we still ended up overpaying in the end. At that point I gave up on them, I was so mad I just wanted to not even get it anymore and get an icecream cake from food lion, they’re just as good and 200% more friendly. We normally love getting blizzards from here but we will be going to daps from now on, Stuart’s draft has 3 icecream places, I highly suggest going to one of...
Read moreI've given this place several re-attemps to gain my business..... but after my last visit, I'll just go elsewhere.
Customer service is garbage. More younger staff and no real authority to show them the wrongs and rights of customer service.
My last experience, and I've calmed down now, my kids and myself went thru the drive thru, ordered $40 worth of stuff, waited 20 mins behind 2 other cars.... my daughter sees my ice cream cone sit on the prep table by the drink machine... as we waited.
Once we got to the window, my "chocolate dipped" cone was presented to me (driving) with no napkins and dripping. Got fhe rest of our food and I proceeded to leave.
Bit into my "chocolate dipped" milkshake of a cone..... and it ended up being a chocolate shell full of melted vanilla ice cream.... so, as is pours down me, my steering wheel, myself and all down the side of my door panel I did the most logical thing and toss that SOB in their parking lot.
Mind you, I'm not very anger driven but COME ON MAN. It's every time I go to this place, there is a lackluster AT BEST experience.
Please.... restaff..... remanage.... push the building...
