I will never visit this restaurant again. I had the worst possible experience with a carry out order tonight and when I called back to speak with someone about my order I was told that the owner said there was nothing she could/would do. I can only hope and pray that we don’t get food poisoning like the other people have reported in these reviews. I ordered the Chicken Philly special and it WAS NOT CHICKEN. I ordered 2 orders of stuffed portobello mushrooms and they WERE NOT portobellos. They were the very small mushrooms and tasted TERRIBLE. I was told that they put 5 or 6 mushrooms in each order because they didn’t have portobellos. They DID NOT and pretty much said I was lying. When I placed the order I asked about extra toppings and was told I could get whatever toppings I wanted. Never mentioned that I would be charged an additional amount per topping. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS anyway but this was suppose to be a special treat and it turned out to be a DISASTER. I can honestly say, i have never been so disappointed and received such poor customer service. Lesson learned and I will not be back. I’m convinced this restaurant caters to their regular customers and could care less about the rest of us or those that are traveling, etc. PLEASE, check your orders before you leave this restaurant and before you pay if it’s...
Read moreWonderful spot to grab sone Italian.
I had the calamari, Stromboli with added pancetta, and the Molten Volcano. The Calamari had good flavor but I would say was a good appetizer fit for one. The Stromboli was filled well and toasted brilliantly and i will surely be eating again. As for the molten chocolate cake, the flavor was the best I’ve had and I’m from Dallas. Slightly overcooked, so not very molten but they’re quite difficult to get right so it all cones down to the flavor and i would highly recommend the upcharge for the scoop of ice cream to complement the richness of the chocolate.
My family member had the Philly cheese steak with mushrooms and the Lemoncello cake. The philly bread was toasted perfectly and had high quality steak with rich cheese. The cake was an excellent lemon flavor with a light textured sponge well worth the price.
Currently there are signs showing that this location is understaffed but we had no service issues and in fact loved the ambiance of this...
Read moreI’m really not impressed. 1- the food is just ok, but not great compared to other Italian food I’ve had. 2- both our meals had spaghetti as part of it and there was nearly NO sauce on the noodles except maybe 1/16 cup over ALL the noodles. You had to put your face close to it to see that there was any effort to put a drop of sauce on it. This isn’t spaghetti! 3- the veal is not tender and very chewy compared to other better veal I’ve had. 4- the “not so plain tomato sauce” as written on the website is nothing different than buying a good brand at the store. I’ve had other “house made” tomato sauces at other Italian places. 5- the prices on the website evidently aren’t accurate because it was higher when I went to pick it up than the website says (and yes I know how to figure in the 11-12.3% tax on food in the area). Not worth $36 (before tip) for 2 meal portions that don’t equate to any leftovers. There’s cheaper options for what the quality/size...
