Damon & Company — Restaurant in Virginia

I had just checked into my hotel room at the Quality Inn and was a little tired from my 9hr drive from Georgia. It was convenient that this restuarant was so nearby. The restaurant was cozy and inviting with an open floor dining area. It was resplendent of the old steakhouses of the 70s but not as large. There is also alternate dining on the opposite side of this duplex establishment that offers a great bar, free standing video gaming option, additional seating for dining and quiet conversation. There is also large screen televisions and music which gives this place a nice sports bar feel. Now the best part🥰. The grilled chicken with cheese, broccoli and rice was the best I have ever eaten😜🤪. The wonderful smoky flavor of the chicken was DA BOMB! The aged and sensuous dance between those and the awesome wild rice was a flavor filled dance with the stars! I only wished I'd gotten a bigger side order of the broccoli. Add this to the great Long island ice tea I had and I'm on food heaven. Dont miss out on Damon's guys. It would be a tragedy not...

We have gone here for bre akfast 3 times. 1st time in January, was great speedy service and wonderful waitress. 2nd time we went was in February, server could have cared less, food as slow, 30 min for breakfast for two. This was our third time. Thought we were 1 good 1 bad so give it another chance. Walked in and was seated, 10 minutes later the server came by and dropped off water and took our order. 40 minutes later our food arrived, cold eggs and under cooked pink sausage, so we sent it back. 5 minutes later came back cold eggs but cooked sausage, sent the ice cold eggs back, 5 minutes after that the ate returned...you guessed it..hot eggs cold sausage. All we was an excuse of how they were closed for a week and how the server telling us she should have stayed home. Very disappointing, the 20 min drive to a local breakfast place, only to wait an hour for cold poorly served food. Looking for a recommendation for a different breakfast location. It is a shame that they could not keep...

So. We wasn't sure how to enter this restaurant. We tried the front and was successful. We were immediately introduced to a perfect temperature of about 68°...or so. It was refreshing because we were baking outside. An awesome young waitress greeted us next. She seated us immediately, told us the specials (tacos of all kinds) and took our drink order. She brought out our drinks and took the order next. The burger meal and crab cake meal came out shortly after. It was really good. The meals were cooked exactly like we ordered. They were hot and very affordable. So I got a BBQ meal to go for later. We will definitely be back. Lastly. I really need to comment on the waitress. She was all smiles. Very friendly.
