This was a straight up 5 but….. the consistency of the da dip sandwiches (my fav) went from being out of this world AMAZING to being difficult to eat because it was very dry, that happened 3 times in a row so I stopped getting them for awhile but then they were back to being crazy good again for several times I ordered them…. and then it was dry and hard to chew. Also I ordered some chocolate chip cookies once and they weren’t even edible, not even my cookie monster kid would eat it, and I can’t describe it except that it was missing a couple major ingredients.
So I finally got up the nerve to call, only because this is my all time favorite place ever and I was so sad it changed, I didn’t want it to be anything less than what we all fell in love with. When I called I spoke to William and he was great, didn’t make me feel bad for “complaining” he actually thanked me and promised to replace my families last order.
I will change to 5 stars after I order again and it’s the same as the first time.
If you haven’t had the da dip or smoked sandwich you are missing out on the best french dip ANYONE in my circle has ever had … get it with the onions even if you don’t like onions because whatever they do to them before they get on the sandwich creates some kind of magic when added to the most tender flavorful roast beef, swiss and french roll...
Read moreI gave it a five star rating because the food was a little expensive but it was worth it. However, when I called to order my potato soup, they took my order said it would be five or 10 minutes. I went to get it and they said here’s your lobster bisque, I said I didn’t order lobster bisque from Eric. I ordered potato soup which I love that potato soup. It’s awesome. He said well I’m sorry but we’re not even making potato soup today so I don’t know where you got that idea that we had potato soup. I said you know I’ll take the lobster bisque because I like lobster bisque as well, but I did order potato soup and my coworker heard me because I was on speakerphone. I put my credit card into make the purchase and he said oh you’re not leaving a tip? I said oh yeah tell Eric to get a hearing aid so you know, I love the food I would recommend it to anyone but honestly those kids over there. They need to be a little bit more respectful Because words do spread like wildfire and bad reviews are not good for a business so these kids either need to be trained well or let go one of the other but that young white male with dark hair thin was very very rude. And I’m all about Customerservice because that’s the...
Read moreA year later update: We eat at Duke’s Aloha Eats all the time and it’s easily one of our favorite local spots. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. We’ve found great camaraderie with other regulars, and there’s a real sense of community here. Even though it’s a bar and restaurant, it’s absolutely a comfortable and welcoming place to bring your kids.
One of the things we really appreciate is how well the staff works together as a team. You can always tell when there’s tension behind the scenes—but we’ve never once felt that here. The energy is positive, the service is smooth, and it’s clear that everyone is pulling in the same direction. Just a great place to be. This has become our new favorite sandwich shop! The food is fantastic! Always fresh! Sandwiches are stacked!! Huge!! As I'm not a big beer fan, I love that they offer a full bar! Poke bowls are also nice sized and fresh!
This is sandwich style restaurant. Chips, no fries. Order at counter and they’ll bring it to you, but no further wait service at tables, which is fine for this...
