Why this review: I returned burger king after a year of avoiding this fast food restaurant. The last time I was here it was atrocious. I gave this restaurant and it's service 1 star. I have been dreading the day I returned and I should have kept dreading. I had decided to give them one more chance because I believe in 2nd chances. Alas I shouldn't have. The Experience: At first the experience was fine. The service was nice, she was so sweet and apologized for her little mistakes and I ordered just fine. So I thought man todays gonna be better. Well I payed for my food and sat waiting for 4 or 5 minutes. The service told me to pull up to the pole and wait. Oh did I wait I waited and waited and waited. I sat there for about 24 minutes but of course I politely said thank you as she finally came out with the food. The food: I sat down in the parking lot in my car deciding to really taste and savoir the food. I ordered a impossible whopper meal medium with Pepsi. The whopper itself was messy it had sauce dripping out with every bite and onions falling out but I must admit it was definitely edible. The fries were extremely good. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI feel at this point I need to make a review. Today was my 4th time coming through this bk, only because we received 2 bk gift cards for Christmas that were purchased at Wal-Mart. Every one of the 4 times I've come through this place, the card reader can't read the gift cards so they just tell me The card doesn't work. The second time it happened I asked them to key it in.. voila it actually worked, so I was able to use that card up that day. But after that, I've had to ask them to key it in - I get the same eye roll, huff, bobble headed response like I'm wasting their life by asking them to do their job - and apparently they couldn't key it in right I'M ASSUMING because I angrily went to the Langley bk to double check what was going on with the second card, however they keyed in the code no problem and it worked. Today was the last time I go through the Gloucester bk. I was met with rudeness by the manager - female with brown hair - and no sort of hospitality once she couldn't get the card to work, handed me my food and almost closed the window on me before saying Have a nice day. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming to this particular BK for roughly about 10 years. It's noticeably declining in all categories; dirty inside, employees just doing enough to get by. Cleanliness even in their person is quite negatively noticeable. Supplies such as condiments, drink machines present waĆæs questionable. Then just last week I paid a late night visit, placed my order and drove around to the pick up window. A nice lady hung out the window and we began to chat. I discovered she was the newly appointed GM and she was taking charge and kicking butt. 14 old employees fired in last 2 months. Hired help is hard to find these days, no one wants to work, and proving to be not reliable. I guess there's no answer for that. But I hope she succeeds in this endeaver, as I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened my #1 Combo to find it bustling with fresh lettuce and other condiments.
