Husband ordered two pizzas and wings yesterday for the children and I. It was unfortunately an unpleasant experience. We never really get chain food. Due to the storm and being busy, we decided to order delivery. He placed the order online with Pizza Hut. We ordered 2 pizzas and an order of wings.
For some reason, the company Doordash started texting my husband. He knows I won't use Doordash, and he refuses to use those other apps. We personally just do not trust or like those apps. And we'll here is a clear example of why.
The woman who came to the door, "the dasher" would not hand the food to my husband. After an awkward exchange, she about dropped the food. Secondly, the order of wings we ordered was open. Sauce from the wings went on my husbands nice clean shirt. That's a triple whammy in my book.
My husband called pizza hut after we looked at the order and got some oxyclean on his shirt. We told Pizza Hut we did not want the order. We just wanted to forget the whole experience and not return. Pizza Hut supposedly offered a few suggestions. We declined. We were told we were getting a refund. Have not seen a refund yet.
Pizza Hut gave our food to a stranger, our personal information, and address. We had a bad experience with these ordering apps before. That's why we don't use them.
We ended up getting food elsewhere. I don't necessarily blame the young lady my husband spoke to, but will be calling back to Pizza Hut if we do not see the refund we were offered. I feel we wasted money, had our privacy invaded, and time wasted.

The whole entire Pizza add pepperoni even though I only asked for half. They only put my garlic pesto on two slices when I asked for the other half. They didn't give me my peppers or my mushrooms on the one half and completely messed up my pizza!! And if this isn't bad enough, we called to make a complaint to let them know that they messed it up just to get put on hold for a while and then for the call to get redone and then to get hung up on! This is terrible service, don't get what you paid for obviously, and you get hung up on if you try to call and complain 🤦 we will be coming into the store after the holidays and making a complaint in person where they cannot hang up on us!!!!! And I hope the manager who reads this offers discipline and punishment those who decided to be so rude to us on the phone hanging...
