District Taco — Restaurant in Virginia

This place has just gotten too popular and the staff does not care about their job at all. I was waiting 30 minutes after my order was supposed to come out. I asked about my order 10 min after it was due and 20 min after it was due. After 25 min, I asked for the manager. Staff ignored me when I asked for manager. I had to ask multiple times. She is this timid woman, obviously unable to direct staff, who may not speak English and won't even look me in the eye. She got a junior staff to possibly translate but the junior employee basically told me off and told me "It's not our problem you had to wait and it's not my fault we are late because we are out of everything." It was 6:30pm and they are usually out of everything. Doesn't that tell you to make more? I tried to be constructive initially and asked if they are filling orders in the order received. They are clearly not because they are just panickedly hanging up orders where ever there is a clip and my order just kept getting left behind. They do not want to hear it. They are out to act out on any complaining customers. I ordered the large queso and they initially filled the small container and realized their error and all they did was dump the small container into the 9oz container without adding any more queso and gave it to me, which shows their attitude and disregard. When you eat food, part of what you are consuming is the love and energy that the staff and chef put towards giving you a positive experience. Just go elsewhere. I had a horrid situation when I found out that my catering order, booked weeks ago, was canceled 30 minutes prior to delivery. I have had previous great experiences with District Taco and called them to see if they could save my corporate picnic event, and they did. They had food for 20 individuals made in less than 45 minutes. The labeling, packaging, and quality of the food were superb. I am more loyal than ever to utilizing District Taco for my employer...

I was a customer at the Tysons location and recently made my first visit to this location. I think their breakfast tacos are the best in NoVa and this visit reinforced that belief. Amazing! It could have been my long absence from DT but these were among the best I've had. Made to order and perfect in every way. Get the corn tortilla option with chorizo or bacon and a healthy dose of the mestizo salsa. There are a lot of taco options out there and I love Taco Zocalo and Taco Bamba.
