We eat here often. Not my favorite but it’s close and my son loves chicken and rice. Today we go after school, I order birria which I’ve had many times and my son the chicken and rice. Birria tacos looked good minus the char but whatever. The consume for the tacos is oil and does not have the same consistency it typically does. I tell waitress Cristina and she says she doesn’t eat there and doesn’t know what it’s suppose to look or taste like 😳. I say ugh ok can i get another. She brings the second one out and I taste it and it pretty much tastes the same. By now the first one has sit for a minute and like it’s oil. Note: I have gotten these so many times Togo I know what the consistency should look like and it has never set in a matter of seconds to oil. Cristina says this América and begins to be extremely rude to me as she walks to the table behind me as she’s talking to me. She says I don’t eat here and you should eat at an American restaurant. I am so shocked at her behavior. She is literally telling the table behind me and her next table my issue as I’m talking to her it’s wild. So I requested my check asked for a refund for the tacos I had one bite of and box for my sons food and left. I paid my check. I will never return to this restaurant and will drive out of my way to higher rated restaurants like El Caporal for better Customer service and not to pay $16.00 for chicken and rice for a kid that looks like that. Lastly Cristina this is America however you want to look at it. I was hoping for some authenticity even if it’s just a little from a Mexican restaurant and to not be treated poorly. Look me up in your system and see the amount of money and tips I’ve spent this year alone. Big...

We used to go here any time we wanted Mexican food, but won't anymore. Tonight we ordered carry out,and were very specific with items ordered since there are food allergies, and we were told no problem when ordering. We picked up our food, came home, immediately realized that 3 meals were missing beans and rice, and 2 orders had spilled out all in the bottom of one bag. I called to speak with a manager, who was quite rude and argumentative with me,who told me he had packaged it himself, and he knew it was perfect. Had this been a 20 or 30 dollar order, it would still have been upsetting, but for a 90 dollar order, it's REALLY,REALLY UPSETTING, and then to top it all off,the person who is allergic to shrimp, definitely found shrimp in their burrito. As she took that back inside the restaurant, when she had to go back to get the items that weren't there, have them correct the burrito, after she had to use her epi pen, the person who identified themselves as the manager, said his name is Carlos, was very rude and disrespectful to my daughter. In this time, they should be much more careful how they send out food, definitely how they treat their patrons. They are a lot of Mexican restaurants around the area now,and I'm sure our family will be...

Skip this place. Out of every Mexican restaurant I have ever been, you get free chips and salsa. Apparently here you have to order a full meal. A small margarita and chorizo cheese dip is $17 I should have skipped on the 3 dollar tip because the service sucks. I have ordered here plenty of times and you always get an order of chips and salsa with your order. I was told I only get a small chip for a bowl of cheese dip. When I questioned why the salsa and white sauce were in the bag I was told it was just because he didn’t know if I wanted it but I don’t get chips. It’s a little fun size bag. When I initially ask for it I am assuming the cashier was afraid to get it because he had to ask the manager to come over. To have staff that dependent on management for the smallest of thing, speaks to the management in place. Not sure who the new faces are but they will surely ruin a great restaurant fast. To think a manager would go back and forth about low cost chips is ridiculous. But if I would have dined in they could be refilled to my hearts desire, then again who knows. I won’t be returning to find out. And will be sure not to...

Don Papa Grande is just another cookie cutter Mexican restaurant. We were seated quickly but it took a while for the waiter/waitress duo to take drink orders. Chips were brought promptly and both salsas (red and white) tasted good. Once drink orders were taken we had to wait for food orders to be taken... This took a good 10/15 minutes but they were busy so we gave them a free pass. Once order was taken food came out in a little longer than average time. Food presentation was good, it looked delicious however looks can be deceiving. The food was by no means horrible but compared to another Mexican restaurant in the vacinity, this place is Taco Bell... Anyway. My shrimp taco was blah... The Pico de Gallo was good but the shrimp was rubbery, dry, and tasteless, missing the spice and sour lime taste I'm use to. I wish they had grilled or at least heated the tortillas my tacos came in. My husband's fajita was mostly veggies but he said the refried beans We're good. My daughter said her chicken enchilada was good but not the best. Will we go back here? Only if we don't feel like driving 3 miles down the road for better tasting Mexican food.
