It was good. My biggest complaint is not with this location, but with how little meat is on the sandwiches at Firehouse Subs. You see all the pictures on the walls and menus and there is like an inch of meat, but in reality, it’s like a centimeter of meat! Their sandwiches taste good, but man are they skimpy on the meat. Anyway, yeah this location is pretty good. They need a better exhaust vent though, because it was really smoky in there. The employees were pretty polite and the dining area and restroom was reasonably clean. I had the medium Firehouse Steak & Cheese Sandwich combo. (It needed more meat.) It was $14.77. A little pricey for a sandwich with so little meat. Anyway, I do recommend this location, but more meat! 😆

The service and the cooking are always good. But I have a humble suggestion to make. I realize that most of the employees are teenagers but it would be good for them and senior management to understand that discussing a dirty bathroom in highly graphic terms at the top of your lungs in the presence of customers is not good for customer relations. At the least, it can make the food less appetizing to the customer and at worst it can dissuade the customer from returning in the future. Also, leaving for a long period of time a pickle lying on the floor for people to step on is not a good business practice.

The people who work here are just so nice and keep the restaurant looking good. The food is also delicious as well.

Im not sure if this location has a drive-thru? Its connected with other stores and a sidewalk surrounding the building.

Anywho My first experience was with them yesterday 1/12/14. I went in a little later so it was slow. Everyone greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and asked if If they could assist me. I made them aware that it was my first time there and I needed a moment. The young lady behind the counter immediatley made me aware that the menu is listed by favorites starting from #1 and so on. I thought was interesting. Even though I didnt get a #1 sub I believe it was a #5 a philly cheese steak. You get an option of two sizes BIG or BIGGER lol (8" or 12"). I got a twelve inch and I am a 25 year old active male, I had to share some of this sub. lol

OMG Delicious I added jalpenos, and pickles, and Dukes Mayo that you can not find locally in the area.

I loved my sub the cost was around $10.00 which may sound high but its worth it. $5.00 for an avergae of 6" of hardy meat. You can split one sub, get your fill, and walk away...

Placed an online order for rapid pickup. I walk in and nobody acknowledged me whatsoever. No biggie. My food isn't on the rapid pick up shelf. Again, no biggie, I was a little early. Pickup time comes, nothing. Finally after about 10 minutes of standing there, someone finally asks if I'm picking up an online order. Yes. Name? We don't have anything under that name. Ok, here's my receipt. Here's where money came out of my account. Sorry, we don't know what to tell you. Finally, a guy (the only helpful person there) comes over and says just get her order and we'll make it. I had redeemed rewards towards a dessert, to which she tells me, that's through your app. We can't give you that unless you pay for it?!?! Again, the gentleman who helped came over and handled it. Very disappointing customer service from the original girl who "helped". There was no let me see what we can do, etc. Just sorry, we can't do anything. AND when I asked for a manager, she says we don't...

My friends told me Firehouse had the best hot subs, and I hadn't been to (much less seen) one in a decade. A random errand put me right next door to this one, so I figured it was time to make lemonade with the lemons life gave me.

It was... okay.

Look, I know the economy is awful right now, but what I got for $10 was a joke. I got a medium sandwich (so 2/3 of the large), and it was smaller than the hoagie rolls you could get at the supermarket, both in length and thickness. I'm sorry, but that's not good bang for my buck.

The sandwich I got was the New York Steamer. There was too much mayonnaise on it, but it was still pretty tasty.

Bottom line: Yummy but way too overpriced. I enjoyed the sandwich, but I will not be returning to a Firehouse Subs. I'll stick to making my own (very cheap) sandwiches and putting them in the...
