Im not sure if this location has a drive-thru? Its connected with other stores and a sidewalk surrounding the building.
Anywho My first experience was with them yesterday 1/12/14. I went in a little later so it was slow. Everyone greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and asked if If they could assist me. I made them aware that it was my first time there and I needed a moment. The young lady behind the counter immediatley made me aware that the menu is listed by favorites starting from #1 and so on. I thought was interesting. Even though I didnt get a #1 sub I believe it was a #5 a philly cheese steak. You get an option of two sizes BIG or BIGGER lol (8" or 12"). I got a twelve inch and I am a 25 year old active male, I had to share some of this sub. lol
OMG Delicious I added jalpenos, and pickles, and Dukes Mayo that you can not find locally in the area.
I loved my sub the cost was around $10.00 which may sound high but its worth it. $5.00 for an avergae of 6" of hardy meat. You can split one sub, get your fill, and walk away...
Read morePlaced an online order for rapid pickup. I walk in and nobody acknowledged me whatsoever. No biggie. My food isn't on the rapid pick up shelf. Again, no biggie, I was a little early. Pickup time comes, nothing. Finally after about 10 minutes of standing there, someone finally asks if I'm picking up an online order. Yes. Name? We don't have anything under that name. Ok, here's my receipt. Here's where money came out of my account. Sorry, we don't know what to tell you. Finally, a guy (the only helpful person there) comes over and says just get her order and we'll make it. I had redeemed rewards towards a dessert, to which she tells me, that's through your app. We can't give you that unless you pay for it?!?! Again, the gentleman who helped came over and handled it. Very disappointing customer service from the original girl who "helped". There was no let me see what we can do, etc. Just sorry, we can't do anything. AND when I asked for a manager, she says we don't...
Read moreMy friends told me Firehouse had the best hot subs, and I hadn't been to (much less seen) one in a decade. A random errand put me right next door to this one, so I figured it was time to make lemonade with the lemons life gave me.
It was... okay.
Look, I know the economy is awful right now, but what I got for $10 was a joke. I got a medium sandwich (so 2/3 of the large), and it was smaller than the hoagie rolls you could get at the supermarket, both in length and thickness. I'm sorry, but that's not good bang for my buck.
The sandwich I got was the New York Steamer. There was too much mayonnaise on it, but it was still pretty tasty.
Bottom line: Yummy but way too overpriced. I enjoyed the sandwich, but I will not be returning to a Firehouse Subs. I'll stick to making my own (very cheap) sandwiches and putting them in the...
