Fu Lin Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

OK so the food is pretty good. I have been coming here for 3 years or more to Fu Lin..... butttt I don't think im returning after 9/5/16. What happened is I made a to-go order. After picking up my order I took a picture of the restaurant. 2 pics.... one of the entrance area and one of the outside. The owner came running outside and confronted me like he was nuts. "You take a picture of what"??? I just took a picture of the restaurant I told him. For a good google review. He said "We dont do picture here! I will call the police if you dont delete it." Threatening to call the cops on a customer over a freaking picture OMG..... I told him he was overreacting. He didn't understand. His young son came outside and spoke to me and told me he apologized but his dad did not want me to take the picture. The dad also tried to tell me something else but the young boy told me his chinese wasn't that great, because he lives in america so long. He couldn't understand what his dad told him..... I told him its ok and smiled. He smiled too then his dad said "don't be so friendly with my son". What the heck is wrong with that guy? The owner here is sooo sketchy like I can't even believe how sketchy he is. Hes a weirdo seriously. I was trying to give him a good review and look what its turned into.... The mom is also weird she called my cell phone and asked me "Are you sure you delete the pictures?" I told her if she didn't believe me call the cops and send them to my address because they delivered there before. She said "do not take picture of our kitchen!" Very rudely. I told her I didnt take pictures of the kitchen. Then she said "dont take pictures inside our restaurant!" 3 or 4 times. I called the next day to speak to the owner and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. If I get a sincere apology from them I might return but not returning...

I come to Fu lin everytime I'm in Radford... Once every other week. I call on the same number every time / order the same order everytime... and somehow.. they never know who I am. They do a terrible job remembering their customers. They are really friendly they always say "Hi!!" When you enter the restaurant and the food is really good. I do think they need to do better at remembering customers though.. and also they are pretty weird. I came with my friend the last time, and she took a picture of her food. The lady behind the counter heard the camera flash and started looking over the counter to see what my friend took a picture of. Then the lady asked my friend "Did you take a picture of our kitchen"??? Really angrily. My friend told her no. She asked to see her cell phone and look through her pictures... We didn't let her see my friend's phone. The lady's little boy calmed things down and told her something in chinese and she backed off. That is soo weird and that lady got really mad. What are they afraid of people taking pictures for? Are they hiding something? Makes you wonder.. I saw another reviewer had a...

Food and service is usually great. Today however I ordered to pick up egg drop soup with the noodles very specific on the noodles because the soup and noodles were for my elderly mother and crab rangoons for pickup I was told 5-6 minutes 23 minutes later we stop she was arguing with a customer on the phone so I waited while she argued. I complained about the wait. Got home no noodles so my mother was upset so I went back to get them and the owner didn’t apologize or anything. I asked her to make it right and she argued with me over $6 yup that’s right $6. Said she “make no money give free”. I explained good customer service after being interrupted by her several times, I explained me and my family ate there twice a week and asked for a future discount or my order free. She again said “I don’t care I make no money by give free food”. I took the noodles and told her I would never be back and would write a poor review. She said she didn’t care. So here it is.
