I was absolutely shocked at the extremely rude and unprofessional customer service I received this morning. I would avoid coming here and choose another coffee shop. I ordered a pumpkin pie latte and then drove to my kidās soccer game down the road. It was at the field that I took my first sip and realized that my latte was just espresso and milk, no syrups/flavors were put in. No problem! I had some time before the match started and i had paid over $8 for this thing and I wanted it fixed. I drove back and explained the flavor may have been forgotten and if they could fix it. There were 3 young girls behind the counter and an older woman who had made my latte when I was first there. I directed my concern to the older woman. She was quick to blame and ask a younger girl if she put the flavor in. Poor girl looked like a dear a head lights and slowly nodded yes. Personally, I didnāt recall seeing this particular girl when I was there previously, but nonetheless. The older lady looked at me and argued with me that they put it in there. I said, āmaāam. Smell it. Feel free to taste it! There is no smell or taste of anything other than espresso and milkā The woman ROLLED HER EYES at me and said, āyou probably didnāt taste it because you added a shot of espresso and itās strongā. Lady. I order quads all the time. Donāt tell me I donāt know what plain, strong coffee tastes like. They didnāt even offer to remake the latte that had, at that point, been ordered 30 minutes ago; she just pumped two pumps of sauce in the existing latte and swirled it around. When the woman gave it back to me she was short, was still using rude facial expressions, and wouldnāt make eye contact with me. In the first place the coffee just isn't as good as it once was, with fewer daily variations. The atmosphere used to very homey and the staff went out of their way to be friendly, accommodate requests, etc. They have now installed a high counter that seems like a barrier for the staff to hide behind, and have generally taken on a much more institutional feel that encourages getting in and out as fast as possible--having been a customer literally since the day it opened I feel as though I am treated like a stranger now every time I walk in and am happy to take my drink out to my car. On my most recent and likely last visit there I made a small special request which I make all the time when traveling at the big chains across the country and around the world without problem. I then received a lecture from the manager about how my request was not appropriate because it might raise their expenses to make my coffee more costly for them by a few cents. I informed her that if this was such an imposition I would take my business to her competitors who clearly have a much higher regard for their customers--and indeed did so at the Starbuck's right...

Prices are higher than Starbucks but in line with specialty coffee houses. I found this place about 5 weeks ago and practically every day I have been stopping for an Americano. After trying different sizes I decided I liked the grande, which comes in a 16oz cup with 4 shots of espresso but i liked it with more water, therefore I asked for it to be put in the larger, 20oz cup.
The teenagers who day after day took my order understood my order and everything was fine until Monday, 6/19/17 when the owner/manager took my order. At first she acted confused until I clarified that I only wanted the 4 shot espresso but with more water, thus the ask for the larger cup. She then said that she had to charge me more for the larger cup. I said okay, that's fine. She then murmured that she'll have to figure it out. She never charged me for the larger cup and I have not and do not intend to return to a place that does not value a regular customer and is worried about couple of pennies. How Petty can you be?
