Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Virginia

This place can not stay in business if they keep running things the way they do. I attempted to order online and saw it was going to be at least 45 minutes before I could pick up my order. I decided to just stop in on my way home instead, and when I walked in there were two teenagers behind the counter chatting with their friend and three half-made sandwiches just sitting out on the counter. One of the workers asked me what I wanted to order while lifting his shirt and scratching his bare stomach just above his boxer elastic. Then he turned around to grab gloves without washing his hands. Fortunately(?) the other worker took over my order. He made the first two sandwiches (kids meals) and I had to repeat myself multiple times because more of their friends had come in to hang out. I informed him I needed two more sandwiches and he just ignored me and started finishing the sandwiches that were laying out on the counter for an online order. By this point I was over it, so I just decided to get the kids sandwiches and leave. I paid for the kids meals that were supposed to come with cookies and water bottles, but when they didn’t have those, I was offered a cup of water in return. Worst jersey mikes I've been too! No one had a mask on . The guy put my sandwich in the cutting board without cleaning it first. I ask him not to and he did it anyway. I ask him to make another sandwich cause he put my sandwich in oil and vinegar and whatever else the gentleman ahead of me had on his sandwich. When i ask him to make me another sandwich he said why. I said you put my sandwich on that dirty cutting board and didn't clean it. One of the girls there grabbed the sandwich with an attitude and threw it in the trash. Needless to say I had enough and left. I will never go back to the jersey mikes in lakeridge. I went to the one on prince William Pkwy and everyone had a mask on and was polite and they cleaned as they were making sandwiches. It's sad because I live 5 minutes from the store in lakeridge and will never...

I visited Jersey Mike's and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere of the place was really inviting—clean and well-organized, which always makes for a pleasant dining environment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking the time to ensure my order was just right.

However, the food took longer to prepare than I anticipated. While the wait wasn't excessive, it was noticeable, especially during a lunch rush. Despite the delay, the quality of the sandwich made up for it. The ingredients were fresh, and the bread was perfectly toasted.

Overall, while the service speed could use some improvement, the clean environment and friendly staff made for a positive experience. I’ll definitely return and hope for a quicker...
