Food is average. Disorganized. Manager is clearly over stressed at drive thru when it becomes busy, seems because his staff usually don't care and make many mistakes with my orders and any changes. I.e. I've got allergies and limited choices of only 2 sides. I have to ask special for green beans every time because it's not an option for some odd reason in their app as a side, while every other side is there, so I have to remember to ask at speaker or call them ahead to sub. The manager always has to double check that staff actually followed him asking them to change it. It's been messed up in the past multiple times where I have to park and go back in. This visit, it visibly upset the manager that I also asked to please leave the bun off 1 sandwich, when I was at the second window. He became disgruntled in his face and told me I should have done it earlier, that they already made it, then interrupted my response that yes, I tried to tell him immediately upon pulling up, realizing I forgot at the speaker about the bun. But I tried to get his attention several times when waiting at the window, and he was busy managing other people's orders, changing receipt paper, and not making eye contact, for over 5 mins. And in a busy drive-thru line, it still takes them like 6+ straight minutes to get a 1 or 2 person order done... which is longer than any other fast food place. Not sure what's going on back there. I took the sandwich as is, and will deal with seeing if it's safe to eat later removing the bun, due to allergies.
They also have a Taco Bell menu, but Taco Bell doesn't recognize them as a location inside their app, so you can't earn or use your taco bell rewards, or pre-order in the app if you're going with their Taco Bell menu. I find that weird and inconvenient.
I'm not trying to get a negative attitude when I'm spending over 20 bucks for fast food (most expensive fast food choice, even for combos as well so can't come often) and I'm not trying to be chastised for a small request in a customer service setting, something I would never do to a paying customer even if the customer was rude, which I wasn't, staying calm and polite in my asks and being interrupted. They are never prepared for a dinner or night rush and I don't like going here, but it's the nearest KFC, and still like 10...
Read moreGetting rid of the 2 piece snack lost you all my individual business (and I ate dinner at your Duke St. Alexandria, Va. location at least 3 times a week; me and my family of 5). We don't want to pay for those side orders we'll just have to throw away... we just want a leg, a thigh & a biscuit each. We can't get a bucket because we don't like the breasts & wings & a bucket only has 2 thighs & wings.... we'd have to order 2 1/2 buckets for everyone to get the pieces they want. It's not worth it. I used to eat at Taco Bell everyday 30 years ago because I loved the "Taco Lite", but they took it off the menu because some fat person sued them because the idiot thought that "lite" meant diet! How could the idiot think that when it was twice the size of a regular taco & full of sour Cream? It meant it hat the lighter flour shell that had been deep fried like the darker corn shells, but the customers have to suffer, either because you want to make more money (forcing side dishes we don't want) or because some opportunist tries to sue you over the color of a taco shell! We don't eat at KFC or Taco Bell anymore & I actually belong to the "bring taco lite back" club. You can't be afraid of every opportunist who threatens to sue you... if you are, you might as well just close down because they'll never stop trying to get a windfall from a scared fast...
Read moreJudging by the number of 1 and 2 star reviews, I won't be wasting a trip here! Apparently KFC wants to go out of business. This isn't the only location to be disappointing in the NoVa area. I don't know if they are of the same franchise, but KFC needs to rewrite their rules on holding franchisers accountable, because they're obviously not!! Unless of course they bought into it with the goal of ruining the brand...When I worked for them 40 yrs ago, the owners/management were sticklers for quality, service and cleanliness, right down to the way we packed the product for customers. Colonel Sanders would vomit if he saw how his pride and joy has been mishandled. Advice for entrepeneurs: Don't sell your dream without getting in writing that the buyer will be true to your...
