Ledo Pizza Sterling, VA — Restaurant in Virginia

I wish I could put zero stars. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been, basically because they didn’t want to serve us, and they didn’t. I went with my husband to have dinner in Ledo Pizza in regal plaza (sterling) for Veterans Day, since he is a veteran. We ordered some appetizers and two calzones. The waiter told us that our food was “coming out soon”. After an hour of waiting, the waiter asked us what did we order. But why did he ask that if before he said that our food was coming out soon??! After that he repeated that our food was coming out soon and that they “didn’t forget about us”. In the meantime, four other families came in after us, and all of them got served before (they were eating lasagnas, pizzas, chicken wings). So they could make everybody else’s food except for ours. We ended up waiting an hour and a half, and after that time they brought one of the appetizers. I guess I waited that long because I didn’t want to believe that they were actually discriminating us, and laughing at our faces while they were saying that “they didn’t forget about our food”. So we didn’t eat the appetizer, we got up and left. We ended up going to plaza azteca (right across 7). They served us in 10 minutes and had a great dinner. So because of this pathetic incident we discovered this new restaurant, so in the end was worth it. My husband is African American and I’m Spanish, so I guess they had a problem with that. I feel wronged, but now I know that I’m never coming back to this discriminating place anymore. Thanks Ledo pizza for appreciating the service that my husband did for...

April 16th 2024 , 6:20 pm . I visited the Sterling location to take adventage of the $6 calzone deal . I had to call in my order bc on the app I can’t modify my order ( we don’t like Ledo sauce in our calzones ) reason for why I called in an order for 5 calzones and 1 medium lite Ledo pizza . 1 of the calzones that I ordered I asked for no Onion and mushroom as it was going to be my 8 year old first time trying it and he requested no veggies … the other 4 calzones were all regular with no Ledo sauce . When I picked up my order the total didn’t add up to what I had in mind so I asked why was I paying more when the calzones were $6 .. he said the chicken and cheese calzone is regular price $9 plus and I said why if anything I’m saving you the onions and mushrooms. He said the well you’re going to have to take to corporate bc that’s the deal and I asked to speak to a manager , he said he was the manager . I told the guy I’ve worked at Ledo in the past ( Reston Va ) and I know he could of make a side note for the kitchen to know no veggies or as a manager honor it and give me an FYI for next time . I left the calzone and he didn’t care to take the time to remove vs taking the time to just honor a $6 calzone for me to take . I hope he enjoys eating or gives it away at least vs going in the trash . I will never go back to this location again . Maybe if I am around Reston I’ll visit that location instead . Very disappointed. I failed to get the so call managers name , he was a tall dark skinned long...

They are never open per their advertised scheduled hours, A. B. their pizza in comparison to the Ashburn location is second best. Ledos is amazing...however this location with the fact they aren’t open, you’ve called multiple times, on multiple occasions, AND the pizza is mediocre should have the franchise re-evaluated. Coming from a customer service based industry we run on word of mouth, surveys, and this would be unacceptable. Hopefully they get their act together. I will continue to drive the extra 15 minutes for good Pizza and service vs walk to a location that continues to only disappoint. I work in the automotive industry...I’ll make sure not to order from this location or the Leesburg location for that matter being that they are both owned under the same franchisee. Owners treat your employees better so they show up and get your stores in order. Your business model is bad. My business will be taken to the ashburn location from now on.
